Located in Shifnal, 6.2 mi from Weston Park, The Bell features accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a terrace. Staff were very helpful, even when I disturbed her from her dinner (🙈 sorry). Room was nice and clean. Very impressed with the ensuite facilities 👍
A 17th-century farmhouse bed and breakfast just 12 minutes from Ironbridge, Church Farm B&B in Shropshire offers luxurious rooms with attached bathroom with free parking and free Wi-Fi. The friendliness and attention to detail of Chris and Alison, our hosts, were exceptional. The breakfasts were amazing with locally sourced products including eggs from their own hens. It was like being in your own home!
Set in the market town of Shifnal, 5 miles from Telford, this 17th century country house presents itself as an elegant and luxurious building which combines modern amenities with traditional features.... Location, ambiance, friendly staff Great Stay
Holiday Inn Telford Ironbridge is ideally located just off the M54 and offers free parking. Covid-19 breakfast was delicious sausage or bacon sandwich...even catered for gluten free...apple yogurt and snack bar....prob wouldn’t have paid extra for breakfast had we known!
Excellent hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Couldn't do enough for you. I am not easily impressed but staying here blew me away. Breakfast and reception staff were fantastic. The breakfast itself was spot on and needed a lovely gentle stroll to walk it off. Already booked our next trip. Can't wait!!
Was attending an event at Telford and , not knowing the area took a bit of a gamble ;which paid off really well.Near to the High Street so an evening meal was easy to sort out after the 3 hour journey there.
Shifnal is a quaint town. Train travel is difficult lots of cancelled trains. I missed the event at raf Cosford due to a cancelled train. So if you are travelling always check the live updates for trains
Shifnal was, for us, a really nice place in its own right as a bonus. We were there to visit the annual Large (flying) Model Air Show which takes place at the nearby RAF base; and which we highly recommend.
Visiting family/thought we would try Odfellows Inn but but genuinely the cleanliness or lack of was quite appalling - holidaymakers be aware- very very disappointing - we didn’t use the shower it was so dirty and full of black mould!!
The Plough Inn was great for our evening meal, we had a 6 year old with us and he was made welcome. Good prices for good home made food. Breakfast was enjoyed at Nan's Café. We had the traditional breakfast and enjoyed it. Jigsaws were provided to keep our 6 year old entertained during the short wait.
