Built around the mid 19th Century, Achnabobane Farmhouse is located in the Nevis Mountain range. It offers a quiet and peaceful location and rooms with mountain views. Homey but very comfortable and close to Fort William but without the crazy busy-ness. Neil is an exemplary host. And it's beautifully quiet, so great for resting after a long day being a tourist.

Located in the small village of Spean Bridge in the Scottish Highlands, the award-winning Smiddy House & Russell's restaurant is just a 5-minute drive from the banks of Loch Lochy. Room was wonderful as was dinner. Best Cullen skink soup in Scotland. Was also extremely accommodating of gluten free request. Even delayed our dinner reservation when our car broke down! We will be back.

The Old Laundry at Allt A'Mhuilinn is a holiday home with a barbecue, located in Spean Bridge. Guests benefit from free WiFi and private parking available on site. Rachel made us scones which were there on arrival. She met us when we drove in. Everything was super nice, very comfortable. Could not have asked for more.
went to the hotel which has a take away fish and chip shop at the back of it, staff were absolutely lovely chatted away while i waited on it being freshly made, and it was definately worth it, the fish was fantastic well worth getting it from there, nice clean place
Ideally situated North of Fort William at the junction of the Fort William / Inverness / Aviemore roads with its station on the main railway line to Glasgow means it is well placed for touring. There are a couple of restaurants, a café, small supermarket and old woollen mill selling knitwear, and an associated whisky outlet which is quite impressive for what is essentially a village.
For hitting the Munros this is a great location - lots to choose from. Couple of food options, the Station Bar on Friday night was comfortable and tasty. 15 minute drive into Fort William gets you to the Spice Curry House - possibly the best view from any Curry House in the UK ?
We only stayed one night on our way to Skye and again one night on return journey so didn’t really explore Spean bridge but it looked like a nice little villiage. We didn’t eat out. Nice commando memorial to visit.
Enjoyed the vegan option (moussaka with lentil sauce) at the Old Station restaurant: great comfort food. Nice pints on draft (Spean Bridge lager - local!- and Station Yard pale ale) with very friendly service. The local Spar shop, next to the hotel, is well stocked and even has vegan items. I have used Spean Bridge as a starting point for stages of the Great Glen Way but this is the first time I overnighted. Would do so again.
A great location, ideally suited for setting up for exploring and discovering the stunning surrounding area. I would definitely return and book early to try a different room and continue to explore the area and revisit my favourites.

The breakfast was a great Scottish breakfast with homemade sausage, homegrown eggs and jams. There was a buffet as well with a good variety for selection and of course a pot of tea. The social interaction during breakfast with the host was very enjoyable with lots of historical information of Scotland. This B and B is in the country and affords walks and beautiful scenery. The shared bathroom situation worked out fine.

Everything was lovely, we stayed to climb Ben Nevis and check out fort william, The drive is very close only around 10-15 minutes away what's great after a long climb. The cottage was very clean with everything you could ask for, Log fire was really nice to chill out with while watching some tv on the night, The views are stunning in the garden we seen Deer the one morning, Many Thanks

The owner of the b&b was so lovely and nothing was a problem. Fresh milk left in the fridge for you. Massive en suite with a bath and a shower. The bed was so big and comfortable - had a really good sleep. The breakfast was absolutely exceptional. We will definitely be back when we are in or near fort William again.

Teresa was very friendly and helped with resturant recommendations, taxis, P.O.I etc. We came back from a night out in Fort William and there were a box of teacakes outside our door. The breakfast is really good (Highly recommend the whisky porridge) Oh, the view of Ben Nevis from our room was really nice too.
