I recently spent an entire month in The Garden Room in Spittal, and I can honestly say it was one of the most comfortable and welcoming long-term stays I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the space felt warm, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged. The room itself is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with far more than you could possibly need- whether you’re staying for a night or settling in for several weeks like I did. The bed was incredibly comfy, making it easy to relax and unwind after a long day, and all the amenities were exactly where you’d want them to be. What truly made my stay exceptional was the host, She is lovely and the most attentive hosts I’ve ever met. Throughout my stay, she always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. She regularly checked in to see if anything needed topping up, but always did so in a way that felt warm and thoughtful, never intrusive. Her kindness added such a personal and homely feel to my time there. A special highlight was meeting Pringle Anita’s adorable dog, who would pop by to say hello every so often. His little visits always brought a smile to my face and made the place feel even more like home. It’s those small, heartwarming touches that make all the difference when you’re staying somewhere for an extended period. Overall, my month at The Garden Room was fantastic- comfortable, peaceful, and full of genuine hospitality. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. It truly became a home away from home, and I’m so grateful for the experience. If you’re thinking about staying in Spittal, this place is an absolute gem.

everything..the location was very good to go to Skomer..the room was very spacious and the staff right from the receptionsts to the lady serving food were very courteous..the breakfast( English Vegetarian) was given in huge quantity..totally unexpected.

The house was a new build, located just outside the town centre, but it was so easy to get a taxi to the town for around £8. The furniture and decor was nice and modern, it had a cozy feel. Joey was a very helpful host and did everything he could to ensure our stay was good. There is so much to see and do in the area, beautiful beaches to drive to and not too far from the city of St David’s. The Bristol Trader in Haverford West serves lovely food and would recommend.
