It was a beautiful hotel. Super comfy room. Super friendly people. Super location. Best breakfast in a hotel ever. Real personal touch from the chef who not only cooked up a very tasty feast, he was also a fab impromtu local guide. Wish I'd stayed longer. V highly recomend. Thank you.

Beautiful property with very new, clean, modern facilities. Breakfast was excellent with porridge included in the continental includes breakfast. Hosts really friendly and helpful .

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful and spacious room where I was so at home, as well as more space to relax. Hosts were wonderfully kind and welcoming and answered any questions. I would unhesitatingly go back whenever I went to Orkney. Oh and delicious scones.

A really excellent stay. We were stuck in Kirkwall when the ferry got cancelled, so we booked at short notice needing an early check in. The host went above and beyond to make that happen. Lovely people doing an excellent job sharing a lovely, clean, well-proportioned, well-equipped and well-thought out property.

Our host was very welcoming and communicative and this made access and arrival super easy. The cottage is charming, beautiful, and stylishly decorated, and is situated outside town on a farm road, making it peaceful and tranquil. We loved our evening walks along the farm roads, and wished that we could have stayed more than 3 nights. The location was excellent for visiting various parts of Orkney, as its central location meant that access to all the major sites was super easy and quick. Our host left several treats for us and this also made us feel very welcome.
