Lovely building and area. Gardens looked amazing even in Autumn. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. Our dinner was very nice and well priced and the breakfasts great. Not a lot in the town but very central to all of the new forest area. My only really gripe was the Wifi was a bit weak and the toilet in our room was very tight to the basin on one side and the heated towel rail on the wall on the other side. Managed to burn my knee.
Set in beautiful countryside. Needed a short drive to get to shops, which were well informed on the welcome pack. There are many attractions within a few miles, such as beaches, or the heart of the New Forest. Therefore we did not visit the village of sway. It's well worth a visit to Hingetsbury Head, Highcliffe Castle, Avon beach nr Mudeford. Rhinefield House. Bucklers Hard.
The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly here, nothing was too much for them. Stayed in room 4 and had a nice view out on to the forest and the gardens. We were able to leave our luggage with the hotel for the day after checking out whilst we went on a bike ride.
Great area for being on quiet forest roads in seconds only downside we heard other guests say is couldn’t walk to a pub , we did but there was no footpath it’s rural for goodness sake ! We took a torch it was 12/15 mins and fine
Sway used to have a lovely local pub but since the owners have changed it's really gone down hill. Sway is a quiet and ugly village with nothing going on but the bungalow was great and would recommend as a fantastic place to stay as a central point to enjoy the New Forest. Very close to Brockenhurst and Lymington which are nice places to go
Sway is blessed with the beautiful New Forest all around, easy to find and not far from the lovely town of Lymington. There are plenty of walks and one doesn't have to go too far to see wonderful scenery. I stayed at the Sway Manor Hotel, which I found excellent and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The service and friendly staff one could not fault. On top of this in the restaurant they had a good choice of food on the menu and the food supplied was excellent.
Sway
Really lovely, modern facilities. Loved the lighting/music system! Pretty and well kept farm. Lovely little outside garden spaces in the cottages we stayed in. Nice touch with the flapjacks, marshmallows and tea and coffee left for guests. Fairly easy walk into Sway / easy enough to get train into Brockenhurst. Having tennis courts available is really handy! Great for a group of friends wanting to stay separately but also be right next door to each other. We had a lot of fun despite the rain!
Location was lovely. Staff were very nice and very approachable. Very private but just a short walk and even shorter drive from the Sway High Street here there two good shop. Highly recommend trying the Hare and Hound pub nearby, was recommended by the host and we totally agree with them was lovely. Very good covid set up lots of hand sanitizers and good layout
The cabin was very spacious and so much better than the conventional hotel room for a week long holiday break. The on-site shop was sadly over priced but New Milton is an 8 minute drive away for shopping. Surprisingly quiet with so many young kids running around. My 6 year old enjoyed all the amenities.
The breakfasts, including the choice, were excellent and we had dinner twice in the hotel during our stay because the food was beautifully cooked and the quality excellent. Compliments to the chef, to Tim and the staff who looked after us so well.
Sway
We had a fab time, the caravan was lovely and so much better than staying in a hotel. We loved the facilities and set off to Peppa Pig World the following day.
