The breakfast was great and the location was awesome. The pub (The Waterfront Pub - Marlborough Rd, Marlborough, Pewsey SN9 5NU, United Kingdom) we went to along the water was the best pub, in my opinion, in all of the UK. They served some really good homemade chicken curry and then after we ate, they had a local band, a one man show, called The Herdsmen. I forget the guys name but he was great and the bar owner was really nice. The only thing that was a little awkward was we felt a little like we were intruding on the owners of the house during their summer get together with their neighbors in the backyard, which is where the little studio is that we stayed. They were very accommodating and even asked us if we would like to join them and their neighbors for a bbq. We felt a little awkward cause we did not know anyone, so we turned down their offer and went to the pub for dinner and then listened to some great music. So all in all, we had a great time and I would recommend this if you are needing a place to stay in Pewsey

We stayed at Elderbrook House for a quick visit to the Avebury stones. We were welcomed and shown to our room even though we turned up well before check-in time. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was filling and delicious. The property is only a few miles from Avebury. There aren't many accommodation options close to the stones so it is nice that this one is a gem. Would recommend.

Having called in for food several times in the past, I was happy to book a stay as I passed through Devizes for work. I had not imagined the quality of the stay would be so exceptional. The staff were excellent and could not do enough to help make the stay more friendly and welcoming. The twin-room booked for myself and a colleague had been upgraded to a family room, for free and without request, simply because it was available. Which was a real nice touch. The bar and the restaurant are excellent and the hotel itself is immaculate. There is a number of us that visit Devizes for work and we used to use a B&B up the road which has now closed. This will be our 'go-to' place from now on. Highly recommended.
