The location was difficult to find but the host texted before we left home with the exact directions, which put our mind at rest when travelling to our holiday accommodation. The room was self-contained with everything needed, including a micro-wave and fridge (with fresh milk for us) and packets of cereals and cereal bars in a basket.

We had a lovely stay and the hosts are fabulous. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was great. Lovely effect of lights around room. Although breakfast isn't advertised, we were delighted that this was provided. We had a lovely walk down to the Hamble River, and the yachting Marina. Enjoyed a quiet drink and pleasant walk back. This was easy access from Solent View. We will stay again and thank you to the Solent View for a very pleasant stay.

The hosts Yerzhan and Ardak are very friendly and welcoming and so is Peter, who welcomed us when we arrived and he is at home during the day and evening He has been doing jobs in the house and garden. Yerzhan and Ardak are not at the property very much but they don't have to be as guests can come and go as they please and have use of all the amenities. Kitchen, lounge, and garden. There is a shared bathroom for the two guest rooms but we were the only guests. Yerzhan was very accommodating as I had originally booked the single room while we were having our bathroom done, then my husband decided he wanted to come as well so he put us in the twin room It shows it as a booking for the single room but it was changed to the twin room, overlooking the peaceful garden. The cost of staying in such a lovely house is very good.
