Unique place (within one of the old structures) and great location in Shatili. Very tasty, fresh and big meals (breakfast included and dinner was ordered in advance). Clean place. Althugh there is no air condition for warming in a cold night the bedcloths were good and warm. We stayed in the smaller rooms (one room for parents and one room for 2 boys).

We stayed 2 nights nearby (but nearby means half an hour in...

We stayed 2 nights nearby (but nearby means half an hour in 1 st gear!), 3 nights would have been better, staying one night would be pointless. Nowhere reliable to eat pretty much (but places pop up high season) so plan to eat at your accomodation. Just about 3 hours to the nearest supermarket or petrol station so if you plan to tour around a bit bring a spare jerry can of fuel. Blink and you'll miss Ardoti. You're coming here to hike, so take your car where ever it will get you and enjoy the adventure.

If you're craving solitude, Ardoti it a great place to relax...

If you're craving solitude, Ardoti it a great place to relax. It is a remote village and a 4x4 vehicle is required to reach it. The Ardoti Guest House is isolated in the best way possible. Expect to eat the amazing food at the guest house and stay with the most welcoming family ever.
