Great place for beach lovers and tourists. I'd recommend travelers to drive to Gonio which is in a 20 min driving distance. The water there is much clearer than in Batumi. The food is delicious, many attractions and things to enjoy.Vardanyan - Scored 1010

Nice city with lovely vibes however try not to rely on locals for directions or recommendations as they mostly speak Georgian or Russian so pretty hard to communicate in English, get a local sim card and use Google maps instead. Also download bolt or yandex better than normal taxis and most important ask before you order food if they have halal items on the menu and accepts credit card payments as this is pretty popular in Batumi that they only accept cash.AlaaUnited Arab Emirates - Scored 6.06.0

Batumi is a beautiful city on the western bank of Georgia.
Batumi is a beautiful city on the western bank of Georgia. It has a very long beach with many restaurants, bars and shops alongside, beautiful trees and bushes and many entertainment facilities. During the day, you can either sunbath on the Black Sea or do some sightseeing around the town. After it gets dark, there are a lot of discos and clubs and a beautiful music fountain by the sea where a lot of people gather and watch colorful show. There are a lot of accommodation possibilities in the area from 5 star premium hotels to private rooms. The only drawback is that almost no English is spoken - only Georgian and a bit of Russian. Batumi was a big surprise, one of the nicest cities I have visited. It is colorful, lively, joyful, beautiful old and new architecture, marvellus gardens, murals, mosaics, statues. Everything is a fest for the eye and the camera. Lot of cafes and restaurants with great food. Besides that it is tha entry point for every tour of western Georgia
