It was very peaceful and quiet. Food was sooo good! Please have your meals here! Host gave us a tour around the property and taught us a little about Georgian wine. She also made sure to check in with us when we arrived a little later than we stated, super sweet.

This place should not be missed on your Georgia trip. Situated next to a nice lake (good for birding!), you will stay next to a castle which the owner built himself. The owner is very knowledgeable in Georgian culture and history and happy to tell you things you surely did not know about Georgia before. Not only that: he and his family are also outstanding hosts, happy to share a glass or two (or more!) of delicious self-made wine in a truly unique, artistic, cozy, and fascinating place. Something to be aware of: it is possible you will hear singing party guests in the evening - better grab a glass and join in! Thank you, we will definitely come back!

The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful, cozy and spacious. We found everything we needed and spent wonderful time there. The host, Tamo, was very helpful and answered all our questions immediately.

Amazing stay at Bazaleti Lake, with a host that truly showed us the spirit of Georgian culture regarding guests! Firstly, the property itself: this is a quiet, cosy area in walking distance to the lake, that was clearly built with love and care. The houses were new, clean and comfortable, and for their size they were surprisingly able to fit everything we needed for our stay. The balcony had a nice view and it was very nice to sleep under the wooden roof. Somehow even better was the outdoors area - this had comfy seating areas, a large table, a pool, and a large shared kitchen with great facilities. Second, the host: such generosity of spirit you would be lucky to encounter! He invited us to a feast and showed us the art of Georgian toast-making, took us around the local area in an exciting way, and in general was an amazing part of our entire trip to Georgia.
