This hotel offers a more European-style standard, combining comfort with excellent service. What made our stay truly wonderful was the outstanding cuisine and the incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful waitress, who made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal prepared to perfection. The views from the rooms were breathtaking and made every morning and evening special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great food, and spectacular scenery.

Stayed only a night during our road trip in Georgia in December. The rooms were great, heated and spacious. Nothing to complain about. The views are amazing.

Not only a Hotel - it became my Georgian home. Probably the best hotel you can get in Stepantsminda! The hotel is relatively new, very stylishly furnished & clean rooms & bathrooms and is lovingly run by a family. Very warm and extremely helpful - you immediately feel welcome. Thank you for the wonderful days with you, for your amazing hospitality, for your support with the questions I had and the many small kind gestures! You made my stay perfect! I stayed here for 5 nights and was very happy to come back to the hotel every time. I can only warmly recommend the hotel!

We only stayed at 1740 for one night but we really enjoyed our stay and the excellent hospitality there. Our room was very comfortable and the balcony looked up at the impressive Mount Kazbek. Nice family-run hotel!

Our room was gorgeous! The space, the facilities and the view from the terrace. Modern but cozy at the same time. The ladies who managed the hotel were friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent and we had a wide selection. We had every thing we needed to unwind. And we did! I'm definitely going to miss this view when I go back to my flat little country!

Friendly host and pleasant stay

This b&b was one of the nicest places we have been, in Georgia or elsewhere. The people working there are the loveliest people you will ever meet and even though their English was limited and our Georgian or Russian non existent, they made us feel super welcome. The hotel is really beautiful, full of nice art and the views are incredible. The room was cosy and warm, with a large balcony: it felt very comfortable after having been out in the rain. Breakfast, which is home-cooked, was the best and most diverse we had in Georgia: we still think about it to this day! The wifi works only in the lounge, but the lounge is so cosy and the views are so incredible that you will not mind spending time there at all! Absolutely recommended to anyone visiting Kazbegi!

Comfortable room and value for money, good location which was near the bus station, restaurants and supermarket

I had a great stay at Shushabandi Kazbegi. It’s a small, peaceful, and well-located guesthouse — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. My room was spacious, very clean, and looked exactly like in the photos. The breakfast was tasty, and the atmosphere felt warm and family-like throughout my stay. I especially loved the lovely little balcony with a breathtaking view of Mount Kazbegi. Highly recommended!

All good, a warm welcome, a good night's sleep, with a wonderful view to wake up to, I let my curtains open Communication good, I would stay again if passing by. No breakfast, so I walked 5 minutes to the Capra hotel, for a wonderful breakfast, with view, each morning.
