The front desk is always ready to help; very nice people. The room was well cleaned every day and smelled very nice. Nice air-conditioned rooms. Electricity was continously provided. The hotel is so close to the city, easy access to transportation at all times. The restaurant in the hotel has delicious food.

I booked Mendiata Hotel for my sister and her bridesmaids to stay over the night before her wedding. I was told the hotel staff was very friendly and they made their stay very enjoyable. This is a new scam tactic from Ghana.

This is a new scam tactic from Ghana. It's a fantastic combination of Booking.com's incompetent and useless staff, and it's becoming a new and exciting scam. When you book a place on Booking.com, you receive a confirmation PDF within five minutes. And then, hell begins. Even with a confirmed reservation, the host doesn't respond to any contact. Then, a day after the scheduled check-in date, you receive a text message saying, "Yes, okay." Seriously, it's a day later. And then, this incompetent and criminal Booking.com customer service team asks for a review and demands payment for a no-show. I'm not lying. This happened three times in eight days at the same place.
