International cuisine but look for the hidden gems in little back streets with local food. Local taxi service in the square -but walk...its healthier! We had no children with us but this isnt 'waterworld'....take the kids to some fantastic quiet beaches away from the hoi polloi- theyll have more of an adventure of discovery.SteveUnited Kingdom - Scored 1010
A beautiful picturesque village.
A beautiful picturesque village. It is amphitheatrical with houses on the hills surrounding the port and the beach. It has a variety of restaurants along the port and beach with reasonable prices. Everything is within walking distance and most of the houses and villas are linked to the port with many steps. However we enjoyed climbing them as we considered it good exercise and part of the Batsi experience.StellaCyprus - Scored 1010

Andros is a nice friendly Island in general, and the fact that it doesn't have an airport makes it a nice family friendly destination. Batsi on the other hand is a nice contained beach town with a clean sandy beach that is ideal for families with kids and adults alike. It is very safe and Ideal for self entertainment. Full of cafes, bars restaurants and other convenient facilities.

Batsi is a very pretty town with a clean, beautiful beach. We visited in early - mid October and it was pleasantly quiet however, this also means half the restaurants and shops are closed. For this time of year it seemed to be the best town on the island in terms of facilities

Batsi is a delightful small village with its own sheltered harbour. It is quiet through the day, most activity related to the beach. The village comes alive in the evening around the harbour, where there is a host of tavernas and restaurants spilling out onto the street and harbourside. Batsi is a great base for walking with many well marked and maintained paths. Public transport isn't great, so if you want to venture further afield, a form of transport is pretty much a necessity. Batsi is about 5 miles from Gavriou where the ferry docks, a taxi from there into Batsi is 15euro (sep 23 prices).MartinUnited Kingdom

We were upgraded to a suite which was nice and spacious for 2 but would have been cramped for 4 people. (There also weren’t enough cups / glasses etc for 4 either). Bed was comfortable, pillows good and towels changed everyday. Didn’t use the pool which was looking a bit sandy at the end of the season. Garage parking was a plus. It was an added bonus to have beach towels provided (especially because we were travelling with hand luggage only) and complimentary sun loungers both on the beach and by the pool. The staff were lovely, helpful and cheerful and we particularly appreciated their help arranging our transfers from and to Gavrio.JudithUnited Kingdom

The bed is very comfortable, we even had towels for the beach; we didn't miss anything. Thank you for the gifts! I highly recommend this accommodation! 🤍AndreeaRomania

It was only a short walking distance to the bottom of the hill which was convenient, the house was in great condition and it was very comfortable and quiet.
