Located in Corfu's old town, this 19th-century mansion offers a peaceful garden setting and charming, restored accommodations with breakfast included. We chose Corfu (Krf) for specific Serbian reasons: to visit the world war 1 sites connected with the Serbian Army, and Government in WW1. The hotel was very convenient for this. The Serbian museum was just round the corner Also we preferred a stay in a lovely old city like Corfu, to a ghastly crowded poolside hotel. We were also interested in Orthodox Churches such as St Spridon, whose icon we bought, and others, such as St Petka (Paraskelsa).

Great atmosphere and beautiful spots. In Corfu town there mast be issues with waste management. Some areas are covered with waste and smell is not great especially when the weather is very warm. Too much traffic, at least in August. Beaches ans sea water not consistently clean. If you’re looking for clean waters don’t go in August or pick other Greek islands.
If your desire and purpose is to witness a place that has a ancient history and be part of a natural beauty Corfu would be recommended. ! Tips; You have to shape a different perception of space as roads are very nerotide You DO need a car to explore the island However. A surprising puzel was the way the garbage was accumulated on particular areas!!!!! I don’t know if the disposal from the island is once a month or so !! Above all great !
The best way to get utmost of Corfu is walking. Do not take the hop on- hop off bus, it is expensive and dull. What I particularly like is sailing to the island of VIDO. There you can escape from touristy crowds because it lonely uninhabited, green, and with a nice view of Kerkyra. It is also best to to Corfu in the lower season when the tourist pollution is also low.
Wonderful people shopping the old town great restaurants. I didn't want to leave. One of those places you wish you could there. Actually I would. I'm retired. I could..but Americans can't stay more than 90 days. There are no long term visas available to Americans. I shall return.
Corfu town was hectic and a little rundown. In some areas there were no sidewalks. Cars also park on sidewalks. The old town is supposed to be beautiful, but we spent most of our stay at Paleokastritsa beach which was gorgeous. The restaurants on the water in Corfu town are very nice and we loved the waterfront area.
Corfu is a really nice place to visit. Lots of historical places to see as well as natural sites. All of the local spots were good for food. Lots of little shops for gifts and people were friendly. The only complaint I have is it was very difficult to get a taxi after arriving at the port on the ferry. There is no taxi stand so you had to get lucky with someone dropping off. Our hotels were relatively close by and the taxis wanted more lucrative fares.

The hotel is in a very central location, you couldn’t get a better place to stay while in Corfu town. We had rooms 205 and 204 which had lovely views of the fortress and the square of a night. The rooms are a very good size and it was so nice to have a proper double bed. The staff were so friendly and accommodating with a very good choice at breakfast as well. You can’t fault the value for money! We will definitely be returning as there is still lots to explore in this beautiful town.

Excellent olives for breakfast, deep green forrest, intertwined with wisteria, in front of our balcony. From Arion it takes around 15 minutes stroll to the old town (it is better not to drive there, for the parking problems and traffic chaos), so, it is quite peaceful place but not too far from the centre. The hotel personnel was kind but not pushy. Good value for this price. Besides, in old town Corfu (Kerkyra) you can find numerous beautiful places like this on the photo...

The apartment was AMAZING. The location is the best possible in Corfu Town - right on the main (pedestrian) street and directly above the best gelato shop in town. I was afraid it would be loud but it has new sound-proof windows. We slept very well. Comfortable beds, very roomy and airy, ample towels and blankets, a new washing machine, a well-stocked kitchen, a large dining room table, etc., etc. It was perfect in every way. Highly recommended!

A beautiful boutique hotel, family run, and so very friendly! It’s hard to describe the warmth of the welcome, the friendliness, the delicious breakfasts, fresh coffee, comfy beds ... the list goes on! The entire hotel is exquisitely decorated, and it’s both tasteful and elegant. The location is perhaps the best in Corfu, 50m from Town Hall Square where you find outstanding restaurants. Being off-street it’s also VERY quiet.

Everything was clean, quiet, good signification of the hotel from the street. The situation of the hotel was super. It took 10 minutes of slow walk to the city centre and it's not far away from the port if you would like to travel to Albania or Greece.

Fabulous location, could see the sea and the bus station from outside the front gate, one to the left and one to the right. Very good little shops just across the road, butcher and veg shop, little supermarket and bakery, one block past the post office. Take a right turn by the bus station and then a left before the church for a short cut to the Old Town. Loved the outside space. Hosts couldn't do enough, so friendly and helpful.
