Wonderful rooms, family, and meal! This was my second visit, and unfortunately, it was only one night this time. The room I had was beautifully decorated in shades of purple and violet. The bed was comfortable, bath was modern, it had a sofa and coffee table, and a balcony with a panoramic view over the mountains and town. The attached taverna is huge with a large menu, but being off-season, only some of the menu was available. I ordered grilled Talagani cheese, which I love, a Greek salad which was much tastier than in the mass tourism towns, and a pork chop that was huge and very good.

I would give this property more than a 10 if I could. EVERYTHING was thought out. This older couple has something going on. My cottage was immaculate, and I cannot say enough good things about it. The kitchen had everything you need; there was even a storage container for the lunch meat and cheese they supply. How thoughtful is that; not many people think to bring Tupperware. I do now, because I travel so much, but the fact that this was even thought of was great. There were no cleaning supplies in the apartment except dish soap. So many places leave the supplies as if to imply you should clean the room. I find that to be tacky; they did not do this; implying that they will clean it when you leave. Every Towel and sheet was embossed with "En Feneo". I saw the woman wiping everyone's patio tables early one morning. The marble step up to the bed was such a treat. Even though this was rural it had great internet, and the TV worked. Funny how the TV worked in Mesino but not in Athens....what is that about? When I paid the old man and I sat down at his kitchen table, and he made me a receipt; It was so real. The backdrop against the mountains, just WOW.

Beautiful village with wonderful locations for walking and mountain activities. Cheap food and excellent taverna Vigla. Easy to get around from several directions. The best is from Kiato via Lafka.

Very beautiful village but unfortunately if it rains you...

Very beautiful village but unfortunately if it rains you don't have many options. The square is beautiful but it wasn't for winter because it wasn't used. We went at Christmas, I would like to go again at another time, to sit outside. Few shops for food and drink in the village, but what was there was very good quality.
