He is very outgoing and ready for a small talk just any time which is what I'm expecting from a young and well-educated hotel manager. So cool! Although the competition in this touristic city is tough the staff are doing their best to keep up with their guests' expectations. Excellent location with good views from the Hotel, the best scenery was obviously the Monestries situated on pinnicles of rock with fantastic views. The roads in the area are really good & signage was good too.
Great place to visit. Must to see, if you are interested in: a/history b/trekking c/mountains d/leisure e/relax f/discovering ANOTHER face of Greece but remember not to complain if you go there in high season - this is a small place and I believe it CAN be crowded!
If you're thinking of visiting Meteora, consider staying overnight, that way you'll manage to see all 6 monasteries. I strongly encourage you to avoid just taking a one-day trip to Athens, which is not worth the hassle. Stay one night (or two). There's plenty of nature and is by far slower-paced than Athens. Just mind the distance! It's a 4-4.5 hour train ride from Athens.
An incredible region in Greece. I would have loved to have explored the region as it has a foodie culture, as the area is fertile ground and a key foodbowl for Greece. The monastries were incredible. So much to learn, see and do. I would have loved to have spent time hiking those beautiful mountains.
This place is out of this world, you have to experience the scale of the mountains and the effort that was put in building these wonderful monasteries to fully appreciate. Should be a must on your bucket list, a one of a kind destination.
Dont hesitate to come to this place, it is extremely beautiful. The view from the rocks of the monasteries and the landscape beyond is more than breathtaking. I didn't went in to any monasteries cause its not interesting to me, but just the view is more than enough. You can walk your way up and down through the nature and also climb some rocks if youre into that. If you go in Fall, the color of the trees are just spectacular to watch as well from the top. The town has not that much to offer besides Meteora, but, do you need more?

They are also very serious about covid19 which is important. Fully recommended!
