The location was exceptionally beautiful, peaceful, and immaculately clean. The entire vibe was beyond perfect for the entirety of our five day stay. The staff, Christo, Christo, Georgia and others were beyond description, they contributed greatly to our experience, both in their constant willingness to provide a perfect service as well as in their knowledge of the area, Greek culture, and local things to do. We have already suggested this incredible place to our friends. We could not have had a better experience.

The view was absolutely stunning. We loved our room as well. Looking out into the pool and across to the mountains was really great. The shower in the room was fantastic. The staff were incredibly kind and hard working, they made it feel like home. Love the room service and restaurant on property. Well worth going a bit out of the way to stay here.

The location is perfect if you want to sleep before or after the Samaria Gorge. We've arrived to hotel at 10AM, left the bags here and went to the Gorge, then returned for the night. There's also a parking on the hotel territory. The staff is super welcoming and ready to help, they have also gave me quite a few tips and pointers for visiting Gorge, an I definitely thankful for that one! The food is homemade-like - both simply and tasty, and the breakfast is great as well. The room is small but comfy, so perfect for short stays. The bathroom is the smallest of all the hotels I've visited in Greece, but had all the amenities and was very clean, and is more than enough.

Beautiful setting, charming house and nice pool. The kids enjoyed the nearby goats! The owner was very nice and offered to drive us to the Samaria Gorges (4 km away) on the morning we left.

The apartment is lovely and recently renovated, with a unique and beautiful aesthetic. It was very clean, with thoughtful amenities and welcome gifts, such as some local grapes and spirits. We especially loved the air conditioning - the place was always cool, even in the middle of the day. The host was responsive and very welcoming. Would definitely come here again!

Our time at Azogire Traditional Houses was incredible & way beyond our expectations! We were planning to stay in Sougia but our hotel there cancelled last minute and this was the closest accommodation we could find with availability. I’m so happy that we stumbled upon Azogires and would love to return to this property. It’s a stunning 40 minute drive through the olive groves and epic mountains down to Sougia, one of our favorite beaches in Crete. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the drive each day. The room itself was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, and the check-in process was a breeze. The pool was a wonderful addition to our stay, and the location of the property is just unbeatable for a unique and wonderful, relaxing experience as you drive through Crete. There is a fabulous taverna serving delicious local food & perfect coffee right nextdoor, a very cute local arts and craft shop & gallery, and a beautiful uphill hiking trail where you will see horses & sheep & hear their bells ringing. The setting felt magical. It’s convenient to several attractions & popular beaches but feels more tucked away, quiet, private and peaceful since it’s such a small, beautiful village. 10/10 in every way and we would return in a heartbeat!
