Porto Koufo
Located 66 feet from the sandy beach of Porto Koufo in Halkidiki, Studios Costa features a snack bar and sun terrace. Location near the beach, beautiful balcony view overlooking the sea, access to the private beach offered by the location + sunbeds. The village is very quiet, with some exceptional taverns (very good notes on Trip Advisor).

Located 0.7 mi from Toroni Beach, Notia Luxury Living offers a garden, a terrace and air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. These apartments were only finished in July so everything was brand new and spotlessly clean. Great location as you can walk to about 7-10 restaurants around the port in 5 minutes. Good water pressure for showers which is a rarity in a Greece. Good WiFi with smart tv’s to each bedroom. Everything was great! Georgia was always in hand to assist with any problems.
Porto Koufo
In lush surroundings 1969 feet from the beach of Koufos in Sithonia, El Capitan features a traditional, seasonal restaurant and snack bar. Svetlana is a very hospitable host. She runs a small hotel with a husband, very close to the beach and nice villages. We’ve arrived late in the evening, got thorough instructions and best view rooms. There is a small supermarket, so water and fruits were available after a very long day. Before check out we had time to examine a new beach just around the corner and had a nice breakfast at her restaurant. Could only recommend for short or longer stays.

Toroni (Near Porto Koufo)
Set 1.6 mi from Trsitinika Beach, Nikola's Apartments offers a terrace, and accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. It was situated at the peaceful end of Toroni beach, which was great for our family with young children. The studio itself was very well equipped, comfortable and extremely clean. The owner was really kind and in spite of not speaking English (and us not speaking Greek), we managed! Thank you for a great stay :-)
We had a car journey and a family stay in Porto Koufo, only one week unfortunately, wish it was longer. Located on the lower edge of Sithonia in the very quiet and peaceful area (if I'm not mistaken Porto Koufo means "Deaf Port", the name speaks for itself :-) and you have good accessibility not only to local beach, but also to excellent neighborhood like Kalamitsi, Toroni beaches, Porto Carras vinery etc. Since Porto Koufo is a fishing village you will never have any problem with the great choice of fresh fish both in tavernas and in small fish markets.
My personal view: Do not visit Porto Koufo and do not eat there. Go to Toroni at least, there is nothing at all to see in Porto Koufo. Restaurants are all next to each other and none is worth sitting and eating (or spending time) Very ordinary. If you have time and transportation, e.g. go to Panos Fish Tavern for its magnificent location or Taverna Leon for its enormous portions. For 7 days stay, we’ve eaten at Porto Koufo once and not really fond of it (@ O’Psaras) Summary: Go somewhere else to eat.
Porto Koufo is a small fishermen's harbour, with a splendid beach in a calm bay, lined by a handful of Tavernas, and a few low rise weekend houses owned by families from Thessaloniki. No tourist crowds, a phantastic beach, crystal clear, warm water, really nice and fair priced beach bars, calm, beautiful and by any means a great place for those tourists who love to be away from the masses, NOT eat Gyros Pita every day, and NOT go clubbing at night. Amazingly clean, and warm, dark blue to tourqoise water, thick-grained sandy beach (ca. 3mm), easy, gentle slope down into the deep water, no waves, the beaches facing south-west. Entirely lovely, traditional, not touristic Greek harbour/beach place.
Porto Koufo is a very small village in the southern part of the Sithonia peninsula. It is quiet and perfect for families with small children. Water is very clean but i got warned for sea urchins. Fortunately i didn't step on any but visitors should be warned. The port is very nice at night with the taverns around it. We visited Tzitzikas and have only good words for the personnel and the food. Everyone was very hospitable and pleasant with a service I rarely meet in Greece. Food was very tasty
My partner and I visited Porto Koufo way before the season starts (beginning of May), so don't take my review for granted if you are going to visit the place during the season. I expect it differs too much. During May, this place is idyllic. Quiet, not many people, warm enough. Not that warm to swim comfortably, but if it is sunny outside, it is possible to jump in for a quick swim. There are few tavernas near the main port and beware, one is really really bad (starts with Tz. something). The best one for us was O Psaras and we were coming back there for lunch. We saw a lot of fishermen and a few campers.
I loved the crystal clear blue water of the beach, it was like swimming in a pool, we traveled all around the second leg of Chalkidiki, and were mesmerized by the natural beauty. Will sure be visiting again. To discover the beauty of Chalkidiki you definitely need a car to get around.
