"Villa Aphrodite provided us with a perfect 10/10 stay! The property lived up to its advertised description, and the owner's amazing hospitality made us feel truly welcome. They even left treats in the fridge and surprised us with fresh eggs and cakes. The residency was well-equipped and ideal for families. We had a fantastic time, and the location near beautiful beaches was a dream. Best value for money in a long time. Highly recommended for a delightful and memorable vacation!"

We stayed here one night before heading up towards Loulida for a five night stay and two nights afterwards before leaving the island. We regretted not staying at Hotel Karthea for our entire stay on the island. The facilities are clean, the staff is professional and kind, and the location is excellent.

We spent a week here with friends and it was absolutely...

We spent a week here with friends and it was absolutely perfect. The view from the infinity pool is incredible - watching the sunset over the Aegean Sea was unforgettable. The villa has everything you could want - spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and amazing outdoor spaces. The host was exceptional, really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Every detail is perfectly thought out, from the luxury furnishings to the pool bar. The location in Koundouros is ideal - peaceful but close to beautiful beaches. This was more than just accommodation, it was a real experience. We're already planning to come back!

It lacks character and a town centre with no shops and only...

It lacks character and a town centre with no shops and only one restaurant ,though there is plenty to do with transport with plenty of beaches in the area, as well as hikes- one leading to an ancient settlement behind a good beach.

This is a destination for families and established...

This is a destination for families and established individuals. The beach is among the best-organized and yet original-looking destinations I have visited. It is south-facing, which is a good thing for the Aegean sea, calm waters. Lots of sail ships approach and moore in this gulf. I mostly value that I did not have to drive from my accommodation (the small villa) to the beach. Just 30 meters walk. For those who want watersport activities, there is the neighboring beach named Koundouraki. I met Fotis, the manager (former Olympic sports team coach, I understand) who runs the facility there. I wish I had time for that!

Villa, beach and entire facility is very clean. Professional and friendly staff eager to make our stay enjoyable. Good location for families, has a small playground right off the beach. Hard to find a complaint, but if we had one, would be the music on the beach could be a bit lower volume... Had a great holiday at Porto Koundouros, and would certainly stay here again!

yOU SHOULD VISIT PORTO KOUNDOUROS BEACH BAR . Amazing services . Amazing beach very clean and amazing coctails. I think you should do reservation first. It has everything cafe bar restaurant (amazing!!!!) and also the best for families PLAY GROUND!!!. Also PORTO KOUNDOUROS has villas and small suites if you want to stay. We regretted for not finding it earlier. Also there is ATM machine which of course is amazing come to think of it.
