We stayed in a spotless and comfortable two-room apartment with a lovely balcony. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and its location is perfect — with private parking and stairs leading directly to the beach, as well as restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly nice and always ready to help with any question or request. The pool was refreshing and perfect for a relaxing swim. Breakfast was excellent, featuring fresh and tasty local dishes that we truly enjoyed.

I have stayed at Anopoli Rooms several times. The owner is very kind, informative and helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean, each with a private balcony, and all the staff are very friendly and hospitable. There is a lot of information available about the local area, including maps and walking routes. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Nice and comfy cottage with two bedrooms and common space between them. We stayed in a bigger room, with two beds, one double and one single. You could watch the Lefka Ori or the night sky from the bed :) Comfortable mattress, nice linens. Common space with simple kitchen equipment, including drip coffee machine. There was ground coffee, tasty cookies from local bakery and olive oil. Small garden with place to seat and eat. Perfect spot for hiking, the trail starts right behind the fence :)

We loved swimming/ snorkelling off the rocks to the right of Loutro (facing out to the bay) and probably spent more time in the sea than on land! It's such a lovely place, possibly a bit too busy for my liking (compared to when I was last there 30 years ago!) but I still loved it. We liked eating at Stratis taverna, set back from the main sea front. The chicken souvaki there was so so good!

We were there for 5 days and really enjoyed our time hiking, swimming and just chilling out. It is a very small place so if you are someone who likes lots of shops and people it might not be the place for you or maybe for just the day.

Liked the colour of the town. Liked all the boats. Liked it could only be accessed by water. Every body seemed to be tourists. Wondered how the few kids around got to school. Food in general didn’t have a great taste. Wine and beer good. Prices higher than Chania

Loutro is a very nice place to visit for a couple of days...

Loutro is a very nice place to visit for a couple of days except if one wants to simply relax on the beach. Hikes to Fiona’s and Glyka nera are easily accessible. Good restaurants with local delicacies. Ate at Stratis and Ilios both reasonably priced

The relaxed athomsphere and the silence in Loutro after the day tourist have gone are so great. If you go to Loutro DO NOT forget to bring snorkeling equipment, the crystal clear water and living creatures are so nice. I had a walk/hike up to the ruins of the fortress above Loutro and that was a very interesting place to visit. PS. Please do not carve your name on the walls of the ruin, sadly so many tourist lack respect for historical heritage.

It’s a pretty and lively place, only accessible by boat. The town is a nice place to enjoy food and drink. We found Ilios to be the best restaurant and the bar on the far right (looking from the sea) to be an enjoyable place for a drink or two. The best things about the place, for us, were the immediate access to the E4 hiking route and the multiple boat trips to nearby beaches Glika Nera and Marmara. Glika Nera is fabulous if not too crowded. Try the home made Kolokithokeftedes (courgette balls) with a little Tzatziki at the taverna on the jetty. Yum!

We spent two comfortable nights at Loutro Holidays. Loutro is a cute little town, so our room was close to everything. We had a peaceful sea view from the balcony and were able to watch the sunrise. Marmara and Glyka Nera beaches are closeby, accessible by boat or hiking, and both are highly recommended while you are in Loutro. Overall, a relaxing and quiet stay with wonderful beach access.

The location of the property in beautiful Loutro was amazing. The room was very spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We had a room with a sea view which was fabulous. The Manager Joanna is extremely friendly and takes the time to sit and chat with all her guests. I would definitely stay in the Daskalogiannis Hotel again.

Maria is an amazing host and her rooms are lovely, with an incredible view over Loutro bay. Maria accommodated any of our requests, and we had a perfect stay in Loutro. Maria also made us the best breakfast ever! Sfakian pie and omelette, bread and coffee, everything was superb. I recommend Scirocco Rooms for a great stay in Loutro.
