There are so many things about this hotel that are exceptional, but first and most of all are the people who work there. Such kindness, patience and catering is deserving of more than a 10. And this grade is because of them. Especially I would like to mention Liana who has done everything and beyond to make it a great stay for us. Furthermore, this hotel's location is perfect if you want to have a great relaxing get-away vacation. It connects straight onto a beach and is a short taxi ride to Rethymno core town, or you can have a 30minute stroll down the strand (all the way along the beach). As we expected from Greek cuisine, the food was fantastic, but what made it better was all the options we had during breakfast and dinner time - ranging from savory, both for meat lovers and vegans to sweet (those strawberry tarts were insanely good) a lot of variation every day. We were there for 10 days and never got bored with the food (actually gained some nice sea-vacation weight :D ) The hotel has a modern design, which might for some things be limiting, but it s nothing that the hotel's staff cannot take care for you, so you can have the best holiday stay! The catering is professional and amazing, from the hotel area to the double pool area and straight down to the beach. You can lie down comfortably in sunbeds, get your cocktails served directly to you and enjoy the sun and seaairwithout moving a finger, and have your perfectly deserved lazy vacation. Speaking of Sun, Rhetymno must have some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world - don't miss out on sitting at the beach in the evening, with a glass of vine at your side and enjoy the sun setting in. Even though the hotel itself is some way from both of the airports - hotel can organize a pick up/drop off ride for you or it is easy as well to book a taxi online with many respectible services.

We fell in love with this hotel. The staff was kind and very helpful, the rooms were incredible, the breakfast was delicious and had many options. The location is great, very close to everything and still quiet. We would highly recommend Mansio to all of our friends and hope to be able to come back.

The staff was very thoughtful and kind at this hotel! They decorated our room very very nicely for our honeymoon. Additionally, the room was very elegant and romantic. It was the perfect combination of rustic and modern. The breakfast was also very delicious. The hotel is located in the old town of Rethymno which was a great location for us to explore nearby. We are very happy we stayed at Amalen Suites during our time in Rethymno for our honeymoon!

The property is located very close to the heart of the city (maximum 10 minutes walk) and still it’s a peaceful neighbourhood. The room is very clean and well-decorated, thus creating a sense of warmth and tranquility. This property has been recently redone in a grand fashion and has all of the expected modern amenities. It’s convenient beachfront location is between the port and old town. Parking is right across the street. The location is absolutely perfect for walking about and exploring as well as enjoying the beach. All of the staff were kind and attentive, but the cook, Maria was outstanding! The breakfasts she prepared consisting of a combination of local fare and standard items were particularly a treat!
