The view was absolutely stunning. We loved our room as well. Looking out into the pool and across to the mountains was really great. The shower in the room was fantastic. The staff were incredibly kind and hard working, they made it feel like home. Love the room service and restaurant on property. Well worth going a bit out of the way to stay here.

"To Spiti Mas" is exclusive small boutique hotel located in Moni, tiny village near Sougia. We (my wife and I) stayed here 10 days in May. The hotel is situated in very quied place, surraunded by mountains. The access with a car is simple. There is a place for parking. The hotel is arranged within old stonehouse, good restorted with very special attractive appearance and luxury appartments with private entrance. The appartment was nice and cozy. The rooms are spacious, quied and completely equipped. Very cleen, functional and comfortable. Spectacular panoramic views from the windows and terrace. Thanks to Wanda (our hostess) and her exclusive hospitality, it was very pleasant, friendly atmosphere with a lot of help during our staying. We felt like home. Around the hotel many interesting passes and trails to hike. Great, beautiful, almost wild beach in Sougia. Near the hotel and in Sougia we have find several traditional tavernas providing fresh, very tasty food. We especially liked Rebetiko taverna, a high level restorant with meat, fish, sea food, vegeterian dishes and great wine. All the food products are local and actually organic. We enjoied every moment of our staying in the hotel.

The apartment is lovely and recently renovated, with a unique and beautiful aesthetic. It was very clean, with thoughtful amenities and welcome gifts, such as some local grapes and spirits. We especially loved the air conditioning - the place was always cool, even in the middle of the day. The host was responsive and very welcoming. Would definitely come here again!

Our time at Azogire Traditional Houses was incredible & way beyond our expectations! We were planning to stay in Sougia but our hotel there cancelled last minute and this was the closest accommodation we could find with availability. I’m so happy that we stumbled upon Azogires and would love to return to this property. It’s a stunning 40 minute drive through the olive groves and epic mountains down to Sougia, one of our favorite beaches in Crete. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the drive each day. The room itself was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, and the check-in process was a breeze. The pool was a wonderful addition to our stay, and the location of the property is just unbeatable for a unique and wonderful, relaxing experience as you drive through Crete. There is a fabulous taverna serving delicious local food & perfect coffee right nextdoor, a very cute local arts and craft shop & gallery, and a beautiful uphill hiking trail where you will see horses & sheep & hear their bells ringing. The setting felt magical. It’s convenient to several attractions & popular beaches but feels more tucked away, quiet, private and peaceful since it’s such a small, beautiful village. 10/10 in every way and we would return in a heartbeat!
