Everything was sublime. The facilities are clean, serene, and picturesque, blending with nature and highlighting the Greek island style. The breakfast is abundant and tasty. The spa is available to all guests (sauna & steam bath), and there is also a range of paid therapies (Alexandra & Spiros performed one of the best massage therapies we ever had). Nice beachfront with very comfy sun beds and a chilling lounge area above it, available until late. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Finally, all these would not be possible without Manolis, the hotel manager, who guided us through the hotel amenities and compensated us with extra pampering.

The staff was exceptional, miss them already. The view is perfect from my balcony. Would absolutely stay again. If you have trouble with stairs, request a lower room. So clean, so beautiful.

This was a beautifully authentic Greek Island resort and everything we hoped for. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The views from the restaurant and our balconies were breathtaking. The breakfast was wonderful! We loved every minute of it. Patmos is a special island in so many different ways.

Its clean and new unlike other hotels in the island. The host is very helpful and friendly. You will definitely need a car to go to city center and other places because it is located in an outer area where walking to the main street is impossible because it is uphill and downhill . It is walking distance to Kampos beach where you will find the best swimming sea in the whole island.

Excellent accommodation in the very beautiful typical village, the view from the property is stunning. The owners of the house are the sweetest and most generous people you could meet on the island. The housekeeper equally very lovely , always ready to please and accommodate you. The cleaning is an example in this place.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming! The room was spacious for 4 persons, clean and with nice balcony and in the center of Skala so you could go everywhere on foot! We totally recommend it and we will stay there again!

We loved everything about the property! Very unique experience that you can rarely find in the whole world and most probably, it is the best in Patmos and even in Greece. The property is located at a very quite spot in Scala with a beautiful view at the sea and very cozy terrasse. The cute bedroom and the wooden doors connect you and open up into the terasse where you’ll find your inner peace. You’ll sleep with the sound of the waves of the beautiful mediteran sea through the night in the deep quitness. We loved it so much that we rarely left the place during the whole period. The location is superb. And i cannot explain enough how much we loved the hosting!! Christina is the most wonderful owner and host we have ever met. She took care of us so well every day. She even cooked us cakes and provided us with everything we would need. She is so nice and friendly and always there for us whenever we needed. She even dropped us off at the last day to the ferry with her car. We definitely will come back again!

Patmos mid-September still has plenty of visitors but isn't...

Patmos mid-September still has plenty of visitors but isn't packed. It feels laid back and relaxed. There are some lovely beaches - our favourites included Kampos, Livadi and Psili Amos (which takes a hike to get to - wear good shoes). There is a great variety between the beaches being sand, pebble, stones. You definitely need to budget for hiring a car or scooter to get about - though there are taxis too. There's plenty to visit in terms of monasteries, windmills, traditional ship yard, plus driving to some of the more out of the way places is interesting. It's easy and worthwhile to get a ferry to Lipsos or one of the other nearby islands for a day trip. We stayed for 10 days and it felt just right.

Patmos is a beautiful and busy place.

Patmos is a beautiful and busy place. The town of Skala is great for shopping and walking. There are lovely beaches around the island, which can be reached by boat or car, but they are well worth the effort. A visit to the monastery and the town of Chora, with its many restaurants, shops, and great views, is also a must. Overall, it is a gorgeous island, but be prepared for some cold seawater.

There is a good selection of nice tavernas in Skala Town; there is one fine hotel close to the sea and the Bay which (unfortunately) was fully booked while I was there - unlike my chosen hotel which had about a 3% occupancy!!

Lovely island. Great central location if in Skala.

Lovely island. Great central location if in Skala. Recommend e-bikes to get around on quiet roads on September. Chora lovely - Loza is one of the best restaurants we have ever experienced in Greece - amazing tastes, and views . Petra Beach is fantastic! Lovely beach vibe with lingers and cocktail bar.

Beautiful nature.

Beautiful nature. Not too busy. did a amazing day’of sailing with an old sailboat, corinne is highly recommended. hora is a unique medieval city. A bit weird and amazing at the same time. Hlia house was a super rental on campos beach. Food is rather average. Aside from 1 resto in the old town. The car rental autounion is a rip off. Patmos is difficult to get to. From Athens it took us 9 hours, a flight, a ferry, a car and 2 taxis.

Patmos is a unique Island with a rich history and beautiful...

Patmos is a unique Island with a rich history and beautiful scenary that remains authentic and unaffected by the limited tourism. This Island will always surprise you with its beautiful beaches, old winding streets just big enough for pedestrians around Hora and the Ancient Monastery of St John that is still active after alomost 1000yrs. The Food choices are excellent with many family run Tavernas with great Seafood and local specialties on offer and many Cafes, Beach Bars and local Bakeries that will ensure your waistline will be put under pressure :)
