Set on an elevated position in Pinakates village, the stone-built Archontiko Sakali features an outdoor pool overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf and Pelio Mountains. Everything was perfect, the views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is magical, the breakfast was all home made and amazing. We'll sure come back as soon as we can.

Located in Pinakátai in the Thessalia region, Urania Traditional Stone House has a patio and garden views. It features a terrace, mountain views and free WiFi throughout the property. The house is amazing!!!! I would definitely return if it would have had a better and easier path from the point you can leave the car
Located in the mountain village of Pinakates, Ta Xelidonakia is a stone-built property offering traditional rooms with fireplace. Our stay at "The Xelidonakia" was a magnificent experience. Located in an ideal place for relaxation and serenity, it combines mountain view along with nearby sea access. Mr. Edward is the embodiment of superb hospitality, professional and super friendly. The food was homemade and delicious. The service in general was excellent. We will definitely visit them again! 10/10
PInakates is one of the numerous small picturesque villages built on the sides of Pelion mountain. Lots of natural springs flowing all over the place, offering fresh cool water to locals and travelers. Beautiful, fairy location, but with awful roads. The center of the village, which is the 'plateia' with huge old plane trees as in every village, is located below the main road, so the visitors must park the car and go down the stairs to find it. There are places for dinner and coffee. Staying at Pinakates is lovely and tranquil, but staying only there for too long might be boring... not much to do. However, it may serve as base to explore the rest of the villages on Pelion mountain, just to name a couple Tsagkarada and Makrynitsa, who are also very beautiful.
A tiny, cozy ensemble of cottages carved in stone some 5 centuries ago; simply one of the most fascinating villages in Pelion. However, be ready to drive on roads that will probably make you feel as safe as 5 centuries ago (virtually no guardrails whatsoever; after a couple of days you will get used to cars parked in the middle of the road, behind a curve, on a 3-meter-wide path...)
I loved the small village feeling...I loved the restaurant in thr square , eating delicious meals under the sycamore tree...I loved Maria's cooking I loved their hospitality ..I wish I could had stayed there forever...Pinakatai , is the perfect place to go walking, to read a book , to smell the oregano , but most of all to take time to know the people

A very nice and quiet little mountain hotel, very cosy and nice decorated. app. 20 min drive from Afissos bay and 10 min drive from beautiful Millies. The owner, Dimetra, is a very nice lady how did her utmost to make us feel at home and comfortable. we asked for a laundry service nearby and she insisted to do it for us free of charge. Breakfast is also very nice, everyday something else is served, but the excellent spinach and feta pie is served on daily basis!
