It was close to the beach and the hotel had its own sun beds, plenty of them! So you could chose which every that you wanted basically. It felt very modern and renovated compared to all other hotels in the area.

Breakfast was rather plain, but it got me started- and it was only ten euros! The (double) A/C was a godsend!

Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff. Residents of the Village Resort have access to the Beach&Spa Resort's pools and the pool bar. You can also ask to have a lunch or dinner in their all-inclusive restraurant (different from the a la carte restraurant). The view from that restraurant is fantastic, so I highly recommend going there. The food selection is also better than in the Village Resort.

Very clean and in a good location

Offering sea-view studios, Marika Hotel is located directly on Platania’s beachfront. Highlights include an outdoor pool with a pool bar restaurant by the sea and an Italian restaurant.

We returned from staying in the Marika hotel last week. Firstly it lovely and clean. The staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are modern and spacious. Its in an excellent location on the seafront & also surrounded by restaurants, shops, doctors, car hires, bus stops etc! We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast buffet had a good variety including cereals, breads, eggs, meat, fruits, spreads, cakes. Not as lavish as other hotel breakfasts but there was something for everyone and it was nice to have something to set us up for the day.

Right on Platanias Beach, Villa Giorgos is set amid a garden with an outdoor pool. It features self-catered accommodations with pool or side Cretan Sea views.

The location was 2 minute walk from the beach and the main street was right around the corner. Parking was available. All necessary stores and amenities are nearby. Property was excellent. Excellent staff
