Built in the 19th century in Hum, the smallest town in the world, House Vera is a luxurious villa with stone wall elements and wooden beam ceiling. We come almost every year, sometimes with family, sometimes alone and we found that this place is perfect for any type of trip: traveling with children, looking for some alone time, or perhaps a romantic getaway, Hum, and House Vera never disappoints. I’m certain we will be back, as this place grew close to our hearts, and became an oasis of solitude for everyone in the family. I am very thankful for the owners for opening their home for us in such perfect condition and always welcome us with kindness and open arms.

Beautiful views, comfortable large bed, spacious apartment! Fun town to explore, especially the frescoes in the Church of St. Jerome with the glagolitic graffiti. Definitely recommend!

Jasmina Apartment is located in Hum and offers a restaurant, a bar and a garden. Small cosy traditional house, well-equipped, with small sunny terrace where you can have your breakfast and dinner. Extremely friendly owner (by the way, he is making house wine which was very nice). Absolutely quiet at night. Perfect!
I stayed there for 5 days, and it was a big mistake. There are no buses to take you around and in July the weather was too hot for a 6 km walk (one way). In the village itself, there is nothing to do other than visiting the souvenir shops and eating local meat at the only one tavern while enjoying the beautiful views. Perhaps it's a good place for a half-day visit.
Hum is stunning. Its not just because its the smallest city in the world its the beauty and energy of it. You can walk trough whole town in just few minutes but sights and little shops between its walls are so interesting and breathtaking. Romantic, old and simply beautiful. You have to visit it.
Hum is a tiny and delightful village - a handful of houses, an ancient church with ancient frescoes and a reasonable Konaba. And everybody was so friendly and helpful. A great place for a calming stopover.
The smallest town in the world, but with some of the biggest views. This is a perfect base for exploring Istria and have a quiet place to come home to. The only restaurant in Hum is ok for one evening tops, try the one in Vrh for example.
