Located in the heart of Komiža, right next to the promenade and a 2-minute walk from the nearest beach, Mira Sea Front Guest house offers rooms and studios with free Wi-Fi. The view from my room of the sea was breathtaking! It was a true 180° sea view from the balcony. The sunsets are out of this world. The room is large enough for 2 people. It was clean and bright. The building itself is nearly 300 years old so you need to respect and appreciate its history. The owner, nonna Mira, her daughter Antonija and grandsons are just wonderful and very friendly. They never walked past me without stopping to say hello. They answered any questions I had with a smile. The beach is just to your left. The restaurants, supermarket and souvenir shops/stands are around the corner to the right. You will actually pass these when you come into Komiža. There is a bus waiting to take you to Komiža from the ferry port in Vis and there is a bus to get you back to Vis. Everything is within easy walking distance. It is a place I will definitely come back to again. Guaranteed!
Offering air-conditioned studios with flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, Apartments Villa Anka has its own bar on the charming beach just 164 feet from the house. This apartment was beautifully furnished, well located, and the hosts super friendly and accommodating - it was really one of the highlights of our time in Croatia.
Located on the beachfront in Komiža and boasting a garden, Apartments Miki has free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms at the guest house are fitted with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. Absolutely charming place to stay in Komiza. We loved everything about this apartment and felt so well in it. It's for sure the cosiest place you can book on Vis island.
Located in Komiža in the Vis Island region, with Novo Pošta Beach nearby, Apartments Frenkie provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Very friendly host that came by with fresh tomatoes and local produced grappa. Apartment was perfect for us! Clean, very up standard and with an amazing balcony. We rented the place for one week and loved it! Ps. Don’t follow google maps, follow waypoint instructions instead. If so the place is easy to find 😊
The family-run Kuljis Villa is located in the center of Komiza, right across from a pebble beach. The hotel has a small private restaurant and is located 328 feet from local cafés and eateries. The facilities and location was perfect and central to Kamiza. However, the shower for room 401 was broken / pipe leeking and a better shower could have been had. Jarka was very friendly and the beautiful old bell tower nearby reminded us of the cultural heritage.
Located in Komiža in the Vis Island region and Novo Pošta Beach reachable within 0.9 mi, Apartmani Fiamengo provides accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. We absolutely loved our stay in Apartment Fiamengo. Once we booked, communication was very clear and when we arrived we had a lovely gift left in our apartment as it was out anniversary. It is cozy and compact but when visiting Vis and we were out all day diving, that is all you need. The kitchen was perfect with everything we needed, the bed comfy, the patio fabulous for breakfast, a washing machine and a good shower. It is a little walk up the hill but very do-able and considering how expensive apartments in the centre of Komiza are, it's a small price to pay for a great apartment! Absolutely recommend.
Old fishing village with lots of konobas. Great place to hang out with lots of water activities. Eat at Hum for lunch and dinner and Fabrika for breakfast. Call Tony at Smile Taxi for a ride over to Vis town.
A beautiful small seaside town on the west side of the most beautiful island in the Adriatic. Very picturesque and cozy. Small cobbled streets have a lot of history and charm, and the locals are eager to tell you something more every time you ask for something. A trip to island Biševo and Blue Cave and a round trip around the island Vis with Ames is a must if you have two days to spare. It’s a beautiful experience and let’s you know more about the island, its history and the stories about the people who lived there. The old narrow winding road to Vis is a must for everyone who loves driving with a view, and the most beautiful beaches are all along this road (Pritiščina, Srebrna, Duboka and many more). For those in a hurry there is a wider more straight road to Vis and its ferry port. This town, and this whole island is a true Adriatic Gem, and it is really worth a visit for a week or even more.
Town is nice, but the outskirts were better. Lots of trash in the town and along the beaches, but water was clear. People are not hospitable to outsiders, but given the history and their culture (which I do not know enough about) I can see why they are resistant to tourists. Hiking trails are great and rarely see other people. Good geology information around the area to look up and do your own research.
Small seaside town with a lot of cats. Mamma Mia 2 was filmed here and if you are keen on that movie, you will recognise the scenes from the movie. People are friendly and fish market and veggie market are great. There are several small beaches with beautiful emerald greenish blue water, We want to come back again!
1) Restaurant & Wine Bar Hum - best experience! They took credit card payment - every other restaurant was cash only 2) Sea Kayaking with Slavin from Alternatura was great! 3) Beach next to our hotel was great!
The town is extremely nice, alive and most pleasant to stay, people are hospitable and the beaches are close and clean, the food in restaurants is good - talking about fish and meat but covering also the needs of vegetarians, there are many possibilities to hike around the island or to travel to a mora distant beautiful places inland and on the beaches of the Vis island, there is always an option for a day trip to the city of Vis as well and many options for a boat trips to a nearby island of Biševo.

This property is just perfect. The apartment was spacious and clean, everything worked properly. The location of the property is ideal with a wonderful beach right at the doorstep complete with a comfortable beach bar. Also very close to the centre with bars and restaurants. And the property owners are extremely friendly and kind. Absolutely the place to stay.
