The staff was amazing. Our room AC was broken, so that was not good, but they immediately moved us to an upgraded room. We were grateful.

The hotel is gorgeous, with great staff, tasty breakfasts, and delicious homemade yogurts.

Had a room with a sea view and a balcony, it was large and comfy, slept like a baby.
It is located in the heart of the city on the beach side so you may hear some noise perhaps during the high season but it was super calm now in March.

This place was spotlessly clean, had a comfortable bed and a cute, serviceable mini kitchen. The highlight was the fabulous balcony. We were in room five, and there's plenty of room to have a cup of coffee at a table and lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun. And this place comes with breakfast included, and the breakfast is very generous, and made to order! Plus the host is extremely kind!

Small place, too crowded, everything walkable.
Small place, too crowded, everything walkable.
Many supermarkets, restaurants and shops.
Some tourist attractions, impossible to visit in the hot water, for example to climb to the castle on the top of the mountain.
Rafting on Cetina river was amazing.
One can take boat trip on the Cetina canyon.
The beach is open, with umbrellas and sunbeams too. Clean water to swim.

We picked Omis because of the activities that were available there and we were not disappointed. We did rafting, a speedboat tour to the blue cave and some islands, ziplining, trip to Krka National park and jet skis. We were going to do canyoning but decided on a beach day instead. If/when we return we will also do a boat ride up the river and hire a boat and go across to some islands. Our 17 year old sun did not get bored! The old town is lovely, although very busy. There are many restaurants that were all very nice. Most sold the same sorts of food consisting of a range of meat and fish/seafood dishes as well as pasta and pizza. Some of them specialised a bit but we all ate well every night for a reasonable price. There are also a few souvenir shops and shops selling beach items.
Be aware fruit is expensive at the stalls. One nectarine was 3 euros. We spent 38 euros on 4 nectarines, 2 plums, 1/4 watermelon and some grapes and a significant amount had to be thrown away. Other than that the food is reasonably priced with several small supermarkets throughout Omis.
Whilst a guide on one of our trips considered the beaches to be sandy, they are not what we think of as sandy- more shingle mixed with sand. Think builders sand. Saying this, the beaches were clean and the sea is crystal clear and we still spent time there and would return.
You can pay by card in the restaurants and supermarkets but the activities, food stalls and small shops were cash only. Not a problem in itself but we wished we had gone prepared for this as it meant we had to take cash out of the ATM a few times.
Public toilets cost 1 euro to use. This can add up if your out for the day and there are a few of you.
Overall a great place to be. we would recommend and return here.

Omis is an amazing location for people (singles, couples or families) who are looking to explore Croatia's amazing country side by doing as little or as much as you want. There is an abundance of activities which are aimed at varying levels of fitness with some activities more suited to those adrenaline junkies. Would recommend visiting during the summer time but would still be amazing during autumn or spring.
For 10 years we have been going on vacation to Croatia. This was the best time we had of those 10 years. Chapeau. We give a 10.
The hosts are amazingly sweet people. They know the environment and can tell you all the great restaurants and places to go. The environment and location is iconic and beautiful. The apartment is luxurious, spacious, relaxing, clean and modern. The privatepool was a gift from the gods.
Very clean, cosy and quiet apartment with spacious Amazing seaview balcony, small but fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family of three. 11 min walk from city center and beach. Very kind and helpful host. All in all, best ever accommodation we have had in Croatia.
Perfect place to spend some time in Croatia! Delicious breakfast, nice and clean rooms, swimming pool, but the best of all was its service! The receptionists were so unbelievably helpful and always smiling :) thanks a lot for our lovely stay!
Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Spacious room with a large terrace. Breakfast excellent. The hotel has an excellent garage, with a large entrance and large parking spaces. The beach is very close.
