Located in Ston, 1.7 miles from Walls of Ston, Apartments Ivanka provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Guests can enjoy city views. The owner is very very helpful. My bus dropped me off on the way to Dubrovnik and she came to pick me up outside of Ston. When I was leaving she also dropped me off in town. Everything was free of charge!! My bus wasn’t comming till the later afternoon, so she also let me stay untill 4pm even though checkout was 10am, so that I didn’t have to wait at a restaurant/elsewhere with my bags. No charge!! FYI..There is no Uber or Taxi in ston.
Incredible place, very picturesque. It’s small so one night is ideal. Check buses before you go as only a few buses go into Ston centre (number 15 from Dubrovnik) - but leaving to go north by bus can be tricky. We had a lovely time and are grateful to a local who dropped us at the other bus station in Zaton Doli for our onward journey to Split!
Was such a nice small town feel after being in Dubrovnik for a couple days. We felt like locals in no time! Best tour we had our whole trip was in Ston! We could have spent our whole vacation based there and exploring the peninsula, stone wall and other sites. Easy distance to both Dubrovnik and Split, Korcula island and so much more!
We enjoyed walking the walls of Ston, the longest medieval wall in Europe. We visited the salt plans, very photogenic as the sunset started. We had a great meal in the pretty walled garden at Stagnum and spent a couple of days relaxing and swimming at Prapratna beach.
Awesome hotel, great staff, really good breakfast....if you have time go on the oyster bvoat. They will set it up for you.....oysters fresh out of the Adreatic sea, home made white wine and cheese. UFR
Perfect for a one or two night stay. Make sure you do the boat and oyster tour in Mali Ston. This small town just makes you feel so welcome. So glad we took one of our days/nights away from staying in Dubrovnik to come experience Ston.
Ston has always been an important landmark throughout the history. The remains of the fortification atop of the hill above Ston and an extensive wall are probably the best evidence of it. Today it is mostly a transit waypoint on the way between the main coastline and the Peljesac peninsula, however, it is well-worth a stop-by. If not for other, for its famous local cuisine (especially the sea-shells) and wine. If you can spare time and are physically fit, do not miss out the climb-and-walk around the walls. However, it is not to be underestimated, especially under the hot Dalmatian sun.
This lovely gem is like staying in a brilliant grand home. The staff of the hotel including Ana, Maya, Christina, the other Ana, and Monica are warm and friendly and treated us like family. The breakfast was AMAZING with beautiful home made breads and eggs more golden than the sun, fruits, cheeses and meats. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and the restaurant was staffed with more wonderful people who provided the freshest seafood and wonderful service.
Highly recommend this place, I did really enjoy our stay here, it was a great choice to stay in Ston for couple days: - perfect localization (is located in the heart of the historic center of Ston), a lot of nice restaurants and caffes in the area, - awesome welcoming and super friendly host (perfect communication, instant replying, answearing all our questions), - aparment well equipped, clean and spacious, airconditioning avaliable. Everyting was perfect!
Nena and her daughter Dena were exceptional hosts. The apartment has lovely views of the hills and the sea. It’s quite remote, about 5km from Ston, so all you hear are the cicadas and the breeze. You can go swimming after walking two minutes down the road. Beautiful clear water, and no one to disturb you. If you have he time, get to know the family. Probably the best part of our stay!
Imagine living at the middle of small fisherman port. Fishing boats moored just 10 meters from the entrance to the house where you live! Thanks hosts for stories told about local people, unspoiled environment and history of Luka and Ston. Ask hosts for advice on getting the best local oysters grown there. Quite and beautiful place, highly recommended.
The host was very nice and the location let us be immersed in the culture. We walked to dinner st a great restaurant serving local renowned oysters. The Oyster soup was delicious. And then went swimming right next to the restaurant. The Ston walls were really impressive. We drive about 2 miles to the ferry to get to Mljet island.

Quaint little stone house. Very clean, great host and countryside location but close to Ston. We had breakfast with the cats and were serenaded at night by the coyotes!
