Hotel Vista, Maistra Select Pineta Hotel, and Hotel Villa Vrsar got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Vrsar.
The beaches are great, clear water, nice equipment. Nice small town, you can easily walk from one end to another (city center is on a steep hill). Nice atmosphere, sometimes live music in bars and main square. Not too crowded. All restaurants offer the same food, burgers, grilled meat, pizza, truffle pasta (the only vegetarian option). All mediocre but overpriced, with average or bad service. Got a parking fine for no reason we could find, Friday night for leaving the car on the painted parking space for 10 minutes. Obviously a tourist trap as someone must have waited there to issue the ticket. No explanation whatsoever or means to pay from home or during weekend. Overall you get the feeling they want to make money on tourists quickly but don't really like them.
Vrsar is relatively small but lacks nothing. The harbour setting is superb and the old town hill is atmospheric and timeless. Access to the high squares with wonderful views and restaurants is assisted by frequent small trains. The main road is away from the central socializing area, and a coastal path for walking and cycling extends many kilometres.
Small town with small traditional shops and restaurants with price friendly good food. Nice path along the sea for evening walk or morning run. Plenty of evening bars with live music. Sea is warm with nice white small stones at the beach.
Vrsar is relatively small but lacks nothing. Tremendously photogenic both out to sea and the historic unspoiled hill rising to the campanile. Wide choice of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets which are largely family run. Good class live music abounds in cafe bars all the way up to the atmospheric top courtyards, with a happy absence of disco! The evenings are a busy but peaceful delight. Traffic free coastal paths are ideal for walking and cycling to the nearby campsites and motorhome areas of Petulan and Koversada with unrestricted access everywhere. Vrsar is therapeutic !
The old center is very romatic even though it is quite small. There are a lot of restaurants where you can eat or have a drink. On some days ( 3-4 times a week) you can go and see live music in the city. Vrsar is on a hill so count with some up and down walking but the views are worth it. The sea is without fish but around the coastline are a lot of small islands where you can go if you have paddleboard or a boat. The whole city is clean and friendy and I can recommed visiting it.
Vrsar retains the feel of a village. The hill is a magical place which is developing without spoiling itself. There is an influx in the evenings from neighbouring campsites which gives the resort a happy atmosphere which does not extend late in the evening. It is not a beach resort in the usual sense but has a beautiful rocky coastline with stunning sunsets.
