The location was slightly out of town, but an easy drive to get into main part of town. Our desk person when checking in was so kind and helpful. He gave us some great parking suggestions. Also, we overslept (having just flown in the night before from the United States) and the staff was very kind. It was appreciated.

This city is a hiden gem near to the capital.
This city is a hiden gem near to the capital. Worth the visit if you arround the capital. If you traveling with family and kids and not that fancy about the big cities than I would recommend you to consider to have an accommodation in Szentendre and visit BP during the day. It is just 30-40 minutes away with public transport, and you have trains every 5-10 minutes.

Szentendre should be visited when the weather is nice, best in summer. Beautiful streets, landscapes, food... in autumn-winter it is quite deserted, except on weekends. The hotel we stayed in does not justify the price for the quality it provides.

The town in perfect little town by Danube, everything is adorable here. The only problem is that most of the shops are unreliable and not serious about their working hours: somewhere they opeb shops on time, but somewhere they don't bother to respect working hours at all!!!!! So, that is very bad for the bussines.

A lovely picturesque town with plenty to do. A good choice of restaurants and bars with a good choice of cuisine. The centre is compact enough to make exploring the lovely cobbled streets easy even in the heat. So lovely to have the opportunity to sit on the banks of the Danube and watch the world go by. A lovely holiday feel to the place without being overcrowded.

Szentendre is an amazing place! A total positive surprise. I became so sentimental seeing what Europe could be with more pride and culture and less multi and rainbow... if you catch my drift. Peaceful educated and cultural Europeans hanging out and conversing on the Danube banks at night. Great food, music and wines and beers. Wow, thought it was lost already.

She guided and waited us on the old center to park the car on a free street and help us with the luggage to apartment (only locals can drive inside historical town). The apartment is 10 meters from the main square, has own terrace (very nice one, to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or breakfast in the morning). The apartment so spacious and clean.
