First of all i want to mention that the staff is more than welcoming and helpful, we felt very good here. They offered a lot of useful information and also a scooter that we rented. For us it was perfect, in general we we're out visiting so we only came to shower and sleep. We stayed 4 nights. Wish you all the best and hope we'll see you soon. Thanks for everything!!

EVERYTHING! This hotel is spectacular! Definitely exceeded my expectations. I was really impressed from the moment I entered the building. It looks like the building was built from the Dutch colonial era CMIIW but everything inside has been renovated so my family and I instantly fell in love with the combination between the classic architecture with the touch of modernity. Every corner of the hotel is warm, cozy, and really feels like home with lovely gardens and a small bookshelf with remarkable collection of books (mainly about Indonesian cultures). They also serve great coffee and food at the cafe as well. The hotel room itself is impressive. Everything is brand new, well-maintained, and clean. They also have equipped the rooms with smart TVs. Kudos to the interior designer who create such a wonderful ambience. I also enjoyed the hospitality from the staff. I only stayed for several nights and felt like we have known with each other for a long time due to their reception. All the great things I mentioned before means this hotel is suitable for wide range of occasions, from solo travelers, couples, families, group of friends, and also a fantastic place to do the remote work. In conclusion, as a person who visit this city regularly, I will consider this hotel as the first choice whenever I come to Jogja again.

Walking in I knew I had found something special. Little did I know 3 days later I would walk out having had the most memorable stay of my 3 week trip! Rumah Pesik is living heritage and I spent an entire day discovering all the hidden nooks and crannies this place has. Every time I looked somewhere I discovered a new piece of art, a new tribal carving, a statue I hadn't yet noticed. It was better than any museum I've been to so far and so culturally diverse (artefacts from all over). I learnt so much researching artefacts and it also peaked my curiosity as to why the decor is so eclectic.. It made me learn something new about Yogyakarta history and decoration styles! My room was 1A (single room) perfectly sized for me and my bed was an intricate Chinese carved bed that made me feel like I was sleeping in a C-drama period story... The manager Ershad is the highlight though, his warm friendliness and hosting made sure that all the travellers in the hotel would connect with each other, exchange stories and even danced during the live music show he organized for us on Sunday evening. His recommendations were spot on and he took the time to bring some of us to special spots for Kopi Luwak and also to enjoy some incredible live music and dancing on Saturday night. This is a hidden gem in Yogyakarta. I am so glad I chose to stay here!

It was one of the best hotels I've stayed in my life. The rooms were very comfortable, the hotel is very beautiful and the breakfast have lots of options.
