I had an excellent stay at Lava Sky. The property is very clean and well maintained, with incredible views—especially at sunrise. The staff went above and beyond, lighting the fire for us each night at the requested time and even coordinating takeaway deliveries when needed. When I arrived with a flat bike tire, they took care of it right away. Everything was seamless, and I felt well looked after. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

the owners were very friendly, they helped us organize our trip to Mt Batur. the rooms were new and very clean. Each room had its own jacuzzi with natural hot water. Great value for money. Definatley worth staying here 2 nights if you want to climb Mt Batur

Incredible view! The service was amazing too - we were met and guided as soon as we arrived. You can lie in your bed and enjoy the view on 3 Mountains. Taking an outside bath with that view is also exceptional experience. You also need some fitness level to get to the villa but it’s quite fun and refreshing.

We absolutely loved our stay in the jungle, completely secluded from society. The tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings were incredible. Waking up to the stunning view of Mount Batur was a highlight of our experience. It was the perfect escape for relaxation and connecting with nature. We booked a private villa for the birthday and it was a brilliant idea! The private pool with hot springs, secluded dining area for our guests and the room service was excellent! The rooms are clean and cozy, I also ordered a birthday decoration for my friend, so it looked fantastic! Staff was very nice and helpful! Highly recommend this place (especially there is not a lot of villa options in Kintamani)

We did 2 days which is more than enough, nothing really to see at the lake, and if you do go to temple, as usual pay to enter, pay sarong, and it’s dirty and pretty average. Mount Batur is however beautiful to view from Kintamani, the Specialty Coffee place was a cool looking establishment will terrible coffee! And as usual a odour that will scare you off. The township is so dirty, all their waste is put over the side of the hill. Sad to see so much neglect and waste dumped in this area which has so much beauty around.

Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and...

Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.

Many restaurants and chill place.Beautiful perfect picture overlooking the mountains. Love the weather in kintamani.Must try their local delicacy. To get here is best to have a local guide that can drive you around.Many hotspring to visit.

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and...

The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.

Kintamani is a welcome breeze away from buzzing cities like Canggu and Ubud. It has beautiful nature around and is worth a visit. I would recommend to find a cool camping spot and hike up one of the volcanos.

The time period is based on the amount of activities you plan in the area. But if you just want to do hiking up the Mount Batur or only the Jeep in the sunrise - 1 night is enough of stay. The day before and after could be used for getting the views and some restaurants.

This is an incredible place in a truly unique location. It’s a must-visit during your trip to Bali. This place feels like a fairytale—everything is so beautiful. The view of the mountains, volcanoes, and lake, the charming Pinterest-like tents, the wonderful restaurant, and the pool—it's hard to find the words to describe the pleasure of bathing in hot thermal springs in the evening, in the mountains. I recommend it and will continue to recommend it to all my friends.

That was an amazing experience. By friend’s recommendation we re go in this cottage and didn’t look anything in detail before arrive. The cottage is really clean, welcoming staff, pool, good warung and beautiful view. The cherry in the cake is the organisation they propose to climbed Batur for the sunrise and we if you love trekking we recommend you to take the big tour the landscape is amazing. Thank to cottage’s staff we had a really good last experience in Bali
