A beautiful hotel, with four buildings set within a serene little garden oasis, with a shared kitchen and pool, all just a short drive from the beach and sea. The owners and staff were lovely, and made our stay perfect, helping with motorbike rental and laundry. Surfboard rental is also available.
We stayed in both the wooden bungalow and the Deluxe Double Room, and we found both perfectly charming. The bungalow was less sound proof, but the rustic design was beautiful, and the open bathroom yields a view of stars on clear nights. (The garden does as well. Medewi has beautifully dark night skies.) The deluxe double room was beautiful and modern in design, with a great view of the garden. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the WiFi was strong throughout.
We greatly enjoyed (and extended) our stay, and would love to come again. We can't recommend more highly!

We have stayed in this property before and loved it. It’s a great place to get away from the more touristy areas. The staff is excellent and the food is great. We especially loved the ocean view villas. If you book one, be sure it has an ocean view.

We had transport arranged for us from airport which was great. Our stay was fine and the place was comfy. Daffa was so hospitable while we were there. He made great effort with my partner and i, and 2 other guests - and surf wise, was mindful to accommodate to our levels on Day 1 & Day 2 of our stay so we're grateful. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the other parts of the surf experience.
Located just 328 feet from the beach and close to Medewi Beach Surfing Spot in the quiet and tranquil Negara, The Galuh Pekutatan offers homey guest house free on-site parking for guests who drive.

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ? surfer kooks in the morning in surf.
Locals/expats are great, great little community you can wrap your head around as a Lombok expat.
Less choices is sometimes better, easy to get info and shared knowledge.
Gilmanuk road is not for the beginners...nor is the big surf.

If you are wanting excitement, nightlife and a lot of shops and bars then this is not the place for you.
It does give you access to north Bali - but there is still a lot of travelling involved - however if someone who knows the roads is driving then it is enjoyable and gives you the opportunity to take more notice of the scenery.
We loved staying in the Kelapa Retreat and Spa and we used the restaurant there for the whole of our stay.
The beach is lovely. It is long and suitable for surfing and swimming and walking along

If you're looking to get away from the crowds, look no further. We walked for an hour along the beach and met just a handful of people. Get here before they finish the motorway as I'm sure it won't be the same! The sea is a little bit rough, but the beach is amazing for walking.

The beaches here are relatively remote and crowd free.
The beaches here are relatively remote and crowd free. The surf can be challenging for general swimming, as can the rocks but it has a lovely vibe and the locals gather to socialise on the beach too, which adds to its interest as a place to visit. Authentic Bali! Pulukan Town is quote ordinary but nearby Medewi has a small strip of surf shops and good restaurants.

The newly established quaint place really stands out when you ride/pass by it on the beach front road. It is nicely set up with the infinity pool at the front and luscious garden everywhere you look. My 3nights stay was very pleasant. The room is cozy and quiet, it is equipped with everything you need with attention to details such as convenient locations to charge your phones. I love the touch of Indonesian &Balinese architectures and crafts. I looked forward to watch sunrise and sunset while sipping my drinks, maybe walking on the beach or swimming.
The restaurant serves great selection of breakfast. Fruit platter and the Health Bowl were my favorites. Lunch & Dinner menus offer variety choices from local dish, seafood to pastas, all are delicious with generous portions. I suggest to try the fish soup, shrimp with rice, bbq chicken with sweet potatoes, also their spaghetti napolitana. I highly recommend Wide Sands, it is indeed a great retreat by the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Puri Dajuma.
We really enjoyed our stay at Puri Dajuma. The food was excellent. The staff really went out of their way to take care of us, from airport transfers to assisting to book activities. We enjoyed the snorkeling. Our room was beautiful with a lovely open bathroom. There was always fresh fruit for breakfast and flowers in our room in the evenings. The pools were clean and refreshing.
The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and although you couldn’t get food in the restaurant, there were many lovely and affordable restaurants around! The hotel was directly on the beach front.
Really nice beach hotel in the sense of a jurassic park beach. Beautiful black sand, wide beach and completely deserted.
The hotel is nice, clean with all the equipment you need. THe restaurant is on the beachside, very pleasant.
Ocean view is beautiful. Hotel has great installations. Kids love swimming pool. The stuff is very polite and helpful. It is a great option for us to travel with our beautiful dog (and cat)
