The Garryvoe Hotel, Cork, is located directly overlooking the Ballycotton Bay. It offers luxurious bedrooms, a fine restaurant offering local seafood and a Health Club with a pool and outdoor hot tub.... The staff at this hotel are so professional and considerate . Especially the front of house staff on the day of my check in and the breakfast staff.
The 4-star Bayview Hotel is a fine manor house nestled on the Cliffside of the beautiful fishing village of Ballycotton, in South Ireland. Arrived very late but the staff were very accommodating and we were able to have something to eat before going to bed after a long drive. Much appreciated! Rooms were very comfortable and location of the hotel just fabulous. Enjoyed a lovely walk in the morning after breakfast.
Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and a restaurant, Ballymaloe House also features free WiFi access and free parking for all guests. BALLYMALOE IS A WONDERFUL HOUSE TO STAY IN. THE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL AND ATTEND TO EVERY DETAIL. THE GROUNDS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL THAT WE FELL IN LOVE WITH NATURE ALL OVER AGAIN.
It’s a remotely located, small seaside village with very few amenities so if you are looking for entertainment and nightlife, it’s probably not the place for you. But if you like coastal walks, tranquility, nature, peace and quiet- you will love Ballycotton!
The bed was huge and extra comfortable! The room had a view on the ocean and this was simply amazing! Pity the restaurant in the hotel is closed during the week.. this could be said more explicitly while booking. But there are nice places to go to eat nearby, like Pier 26! The food was simply amazing!
Great village, stunning location, awesome bars. If you love running as I do then take your running gear and go on a stunning run - I did and I wish all my runs were as beautiful as the one I had last weekend.
The focus of the village is on the harbour. Cliff top walks and a good base from which to explore nearby villages and beaches. Cork is not so far away - only 30 minutes to Cobh well worth a day visiting heritage sites, exhibitions and museums.
Ballycotton is a really pretty spot to visit which isn’t too touristy and is still very unspoilt. It has really lovely restaurants serving fresh fish and we loved the atmosphere there. We ate at the Schooner bar on the Main Street and the Garryvoe Hotel further down the coast which was also excellent.
I was only in Ballycotton for a night, and wish I could have stayed for several days. There is a tour out to an island with a lighthouse, and beautiful walk/hike along the cliffs. There are several pubs with friendly local folk, great food and beer!
Great sleep in comfortable beds.Peaceful bright and airy room. Food was lovely and plentiful. The staff could'nt be nicer or more helpful and respectful.
The staff at this hotel are so professional and considerate . Especially the front of house staff on the day of my check in and the breakfast staff.
Home from home. Close to lots of attractions. Clean and very private
