Featuring river views, Batty Langley Lodge has accommodations with a patio and an electric tea pot, around 2.2 miles from Leixlip Castle. We were met in person, shown around and all questions answered. The place was spotless, the welcome on arrival so friendly and it’s pet friendly too.. we had access to a fire we could light and relax beside, everything we needed was there, we had the freedom to cook for ourselves, the selection of pots, pans, Delph etc was second to none. The little garden was perfect for us to sit and enjoy the sunshine and just out the door and we could walk the grounds of the main house (Archie too) the shower had ample hot water, plenty of towels, comfortable bed... top marks for everything
Built where Arthur Guinness created his brewing empire, Court Yard Hotel is a unique, historic hotel, a short drive from Dublin International Airport and the center of the city. Really happy with everything. If there was a problem, staff fixed it immediately .
Just a 15-minute drive from Dublin’s center, The Springfield Hotel is located in the center of Leixlip. It offers a gym, free parking, and a modern restaurant serving hearty cuisine. Size of the rooms, friendliness of the staff. The pub food was awesome, wait staff was incredible. Loved our meals and our dining experience.
Located 8 miles from Phoenix Park, Beechtree House offers a shared lounge, a garden and accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. There's a seating and/or dining area in some units. The best beds I have ever seen. An excellent an abundant breakfast. Also good bus connection to the city. I recommend totally staying in Beechtree House.
Located in Leixlip, 1640 feet from Leixlip Castle, Leixlip Manor Hotel features a garden, as well as free WiFi. With a terrace, the property also has a bar, as well as on-site dining. What a wonderful surprise. Sooo beautiful and an excellent night stay before a quick drive to Dublin Airport! Breakfast was the best we had in 8 days of our driving trip in Ireland.
Glenroyal Hotel offers superb leisure facilities, including a modern leisure club. Maynooth Rail Station is opposite the hotel and Dublin city center is a 20-minute drive away. Wonderful breakfast & excellent restaurant. Comfortable & spacious room.
The hotel seems poorly run. We were allocated a room to which the keys did not work, when we returned to reception they were re-programmed. When we went up to the room these was a lady in who was understandably distressed to find 2 men letting themselves into her room! When we finally got our room it was not to the standard I had booked, 1 double and a single instead of 2 doubles. The previous guests rubbish had been left in the bathroom wastebasket, grouting from the floor tiles was loose on the floor and the wc was not secured to the floor. In addition the shower was constantly cold. When I questioned the cost of the room we had been given I was told it was the same what I had originally booked, a poor excuse so as not to offer any reduction On the second morning we were woken by the fire alarm at 5.30 am and obviously proceeded out of the building to the assembly point. No staff were present to advise us so when we’re left to return to our rooms once the alarm had stopped. We never did receive an explanation. Breakfast on the second day was a farce as we were left waiting for items of food to arrive at different intervals.
Just needed a one night stay on our way to Dublin and what a surprise this hotel turned out to be. Given a historic room that was fun to stay in with all the modern necessities. Could not have been more pleased. Had dinner nearby at Michelangelo's Irish Italian restaurant and made the evening just that much more perfect.
excellent hotel with period character. old world charm inside and out. very comfortable and excellent amenities in rooms. excellent value for money, west of Dublin, with frequent bus connections. serene, peaceful, ideal for winding down. easily accessible by car, with large free parking.
Food in the pub was delicious. The staff friendly. Rooms large and old which was expected. Unfortunately our bed was ancient and uncomfortable and walls were paper thin. Could hear a normal conversations of the guests next to us and the creaking of the floor above us.
We went away for a romantic night and the hotel is lovely olde world style but the bar was great and the food looked lovely although we had dinner while we out. Celbridge is a lovely small town with good restaurants and bars
Everything was perfect. Staff lovely, setting fabulous. Very reasonable. Only one complaint was the bed. Room 215 very uncomfortable sorry to complain. I know it's hard to get everything perfect. Thankyou
