The bar staff and the front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as they could within their power. They were professional, friendly and hardworking. The bartenders who worked like crazy and stayed cheerful. Front desk handled tough situations with grace.

I loved our room it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok, as you had to go looking for the butter, and juices which were not readily available in sight. Dinners were exceptional, the food you could not ask for any better.

Hotel on main bus route into Galway so easy access to attractions.
Hotel has various shops/pubs nearby so plenty of choice.
Staff friendly and most very helpful. Loved sharing stories with a particular staff member called Robert (Team Leader) who made us laugh every morning.
Meals enjoyable and reasonably priced compared to other places we tried.

Staying short term for a nearby event in Claregalway Castle.
Staying short term for a nearby event in Claregalway Castle. Second time staying here, the hotel is beautiful, as is the restaurant. Food is great generally, though they serve terrible coffee, get the tea instead.
The people are friendly and helpful.
I really wanted to try out their extra facilities like the pool, but didn't get a chance too. Hopefully next year!
We got the same room as last year, perfect for a family. Beds are comfy. Some of the lights didn't work. A consistent noise came from the bathroom, but closing the door helped. Not very soundproof, you will hear your neighbours stumbling in.
Has parking! only 15 min drive from Galway.

Unfortunately The only hotel in Clare Galway was rented out to refugees.their restaurant was good but I would not have eaten there if I knew was rented out to The government for refugees.the hotel could have kept some rooms for tourists or Irish people like me visiting Galway hospital 🏥 as it is on The main road into Galway.the hotel was greedy And took The devil's silver 🥈 The locals aren't happy I heard it from The horses mouth.greed pure greed like one third of Irish hotel's.the locals Will boycott it that's for sure.at 8 pm The restaurant had more staff than customers.

Smooth check in from the friendly staff.
Smooth check in from the friendly staff. Asked for our two rooms to be on low floor, quiet & one for someone with mobility issues. All of these were as requested. Rooms were MASSIVE! Beds super comfy, rooms & bathroom spotlessly clean. Bottled water, tea, coffee, biscuits, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board in all rooms!!! Plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases. Ate at the Bia & Co restaurant in the hotel and have to say the staff were very attentive and helpful with choosing food. The food was exceptional, very reasonably priced and the desert the best I've ever had! Bravo to the chef! The live entertain was awesome! We had an amazing night singing our hearts out. The bar staff and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast did not disappoint! A huge selection of cooked breakfast items, hot and delicious. Again tge staff were very attentive bringing us copious amounts of tea & coffee. Check out was smooth and again friendly staff on reception. There is a gym and pool at the hotel too but unfortunately didn't use it but the pool looked very inviting. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Claregalway Hotel & will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We have stayed here loads over the last 18;years never had a bad word to say about this hotel till now reception staff were not 1 bit friendly and made me to feel like a stranger , when my details should all have been in their system , also asked to pay up front ! I’ve never had this done before , bar staff were very young and in experienced , lady on reception for the dining was exceptional , hopefully this hotel will go back to its old ways of welcoming its former guests ,

The castle tower and the farmhouse was from the 1400 and has been very well restored! There is so much history in the hotel! The rooms are not in the tower but on the newer building around the premise. The place is vast and our rooms were facing east, we were greeted by the morning sunlight! Beds were comfortable and toilet were clean!
The hotel was in a great location the food was delicious the staff where very nice the rooms where spacious , clean and comfortable the facilities where useful
