Refurbished in 2016, the Shandon Hotel & Spa is located in the small village of Dunfanaghy and offers a wonderful views of the Sheephaven Bay and a luxury spa. Lovely recently renovated hotel with amazing views! Relaxing stay and close to beaches and Dunfanaghy! Suitable for couples, families and solo travellers! Amazing spa with thermal suite.
Featuring a garden, barbecue facilities, and a terrace, Anchor, Dunfanaghy provides accommodations in Dunfanaghy with free WiFi and mountain views. Very clean and well located at the edge of town. Excellent communication with host who provided my mum with a card and cake as it was her 70th birthday celebrations which was a lovely gesture.
Located in Dunfanaghy, The Mill Restaurant & Accommodation has a restaurant, garden and free WiFi. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. The grounds, the view, the location were great. The sitting room and fresh shortbread cookies and tea made for us and other guests by the host all added to a comfortable homey feeling.
Located in Dunfanaghy, 24 miles from Letterkenny, Dunfanaghy Glamping has a garden and free WiFi. Despite some wild and wooly Donegal weather that might have scared off others, we were delighted to spend a couple of nights in a lovely (dry) Bell Tent at this site. We loved the casual atmosphere, and had a wonderful time exploring the area (south down to Bunbeg and into Dunlewey and the National Park and back around Dunfanaghy), eating at great local eateries, enjoying pints at Patsy Dan’s, and riding horses on the beach. We will definitely be back some day!
Saturday night in Dunfanaghy! Who would of though it would be one of the best nights craic we have had in a long time! Lizzie's dinner is amazing the the bar next door was rocking all night long! We stayed just outside of town in Dunfanaghy Glamping, top spot! Will be back soon!
The village seemed quiet, even for a Saturday night, but I guess it would be a different story in July and August when the pubs and bars will all be busy. Plenty to see in the village and the neighbouring areas.

Visited the Shandon for my boyfriends birthday and on arrival to our room we received a handwritten personlised note from the hotel manager wishing him a happy birthday which made his day! Spa treatments were brilliant and the view..no words to describe it! Will defiantly be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Superb property with great facilities in an ideal location in the village of Dunfanaghy in the north of Donegal. 3 good sized bedrooms (one particularly large) all with en-suite shower rooms. A lovely separate lounge to escape to - perfect for reading.

Excellent accommodation in every respect. I particularly enjoyed the rustling of leaves on the tree outside my window and the beautiful views. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was polite and considerate in every way.
