We had a truly wonderful stay at this guesthouse and can highly recommend it! The location is perfect, situated between two beautiful beaches, both easily reachable on foot. The house and rooms are newly renovated, very modern, and spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, especially with fresh eggs from their own hens! We also really enjoyed being able to visit the animals next to the guesthouse, which added a special charm to the experience. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely love to come back!

It is described as a studio but it was much bigger than I thought, large studio room with comfortable arm chairs, table to eat at, separate kitchen and shower. Lovely peaceful location on the back of a large house but with the privacy to feel completely self contained. Parking was ample for our campervan to park and turn around and unpack bikes etc right outside the door. It is the only property I have seen with a washing machine and efficient dryer which offered much needed respite and relaxation after a few weeks on the road with the campervan. Welcome treats such as fruit and chocolates very well received .

Such a friendly town to visit.

Such a friendly town to visit. A huge effort has been made to educate visitors on the local history. On saturday night we enjoyed excellent food in 'restaurant Kilalla', had a drink in the Arch bar and were lucky to meet a group of young men having a beer teasing their friend, and team mate the very friendly barman, before heading for a night out. The future of Mayo is safe.

Killala is a lovely place. The town is very clean and tidy.

Killala is a lovely place. The town is very clean and tidy. The people are charming, very friendly and helpful. There are good places to eat and drink. I went into a pub just before closing on the Sunday evening of a Bank Holiday weekend for food and it was no problem at all. There are several beautiful beaches not far from Killala. There are 2 easy walks in and around the town, along the quay and a greenway, part of which goes past a local horse racing yard. The scenery is striking and it is a place of historical interest too.

Excellent 1 night stay while touring North County Mayo. The room was comfortable and clean and as shown on Booking.com. Fiona was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The Pink Door is located in the countryside, so very quiet. However, it is convenient to Ceide Fields, Downpatrick Head, Killala, Ballina and much more. Highly recommend 👌
