Staying at Markree Castle was definitely the highlight of our 3-week trip around Ireland. We felt so fortunate that we decided on Markree after conducting meticulous research on Irish castle stays. It was our first time staying in a castle and we felt like royals! We loved exploring the historical castle, and there was even more to take in than we expected - from a great number of beautifully decorated rooms and spaces to the abbey and the lovely grounds. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and all the staff were most kind and helpful. Our room was very elegant, clean and had a nice view as well. Our stay was magical and didn't lack a thing!

The Killarney Park Hotel was incredibly warm and comfortable in all the ways that matter. Beautiful restaurant and bar spaces, a cozy library, comfortable rooms, and a staff that goes above and beyond.

We had a delightful stay at Stoneywood Haven and it was indeed a haven! The space was beautifully curated with many practical inclusions especially in the kitchen area. There is free parking and a private entrance. We had garden views and it was a very relaxing time. It is not far to Galway city or the southern side of Galway Bay and on to the Cliffs of Moher.

The breakfast was excellent. The location is excellent.

The setting was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are a fantastic mixture of beautifully maintained and wild, with woodland walks that are just stunning. The service was impeccable. Every single person was very kind and thoughtful and anticipated our every need. The castle is gorgeous, especially decorated for Christmas! Every meal we ate was also completely delicious. We are already counting the days until we can come back.

most amazing setting, staff very friendly, great food and lots to chose from for breakfast. very good sleep as its so quiet. Just a few minutes from Kylemore Abbey.
