Ireland is a small nation with a big reputation. This charming cluster of counties embodies a troop of historic cities, coastal and countryside scenery, and an endless stream of friendly culture which have made it one of the most popular places on earth. Ireland’s cities each offer their own unique charisma. As the capital city, Dublin doesn’t disappoint; offering a wealth of nightlife spots and landmarks such as the beautiful Trinity College. Famous for its pubs, Dublin is home to over 1,000 of them, with most offering traditional live music and draught Guinness fresh from the nearby Storehouse. Cultural must-sees include the old library and Book of Kells at Trinity College and a visit to the many museums scattered throughout town. The country is also famous for its postcard-perfect countryside, with scenic strolls guaranteed in the counties of Cork and Kerry, or the Connemara coastline in Galway. Castle enthusiasts should make a beeline for the Shannon Region, which also features the astonishing Cliffs of Moher. Dublin offers a huge variety of city centre hotels and B&Bs, as well as apartments, hostels and more. Head towards the countryside and you’ll find romantic cottages, country houses and even farm stays.
Everything was perfect. We even didn't know how to use the oven in the kitchen and asked to reception it's broken. They had come to our room in 5mins to letting us know how to use it. So friendly staff, great facilities, nice location. All of us kept saying we'd love to live this apartment. Room was big and comfortable, also wifi was so great. It was never disconnected and fast.
My friends and I will definitely back!
The room was clean, new and really beautiful. The view was exceptional. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was very clean and well maintain.the staff were very friendly and the service was exceptional too. I'm vegetarian with some food allergies and the chef at the hotel restourant cooked a special 3 course meal just for me at same price as menu.
The hotel & all the staff that I met were very helpful and friendly even when I came out of my room in the morning the housekeeping staff said good morning and asked if everything was ok. I will certainly return to the Salthill hotel again. I do work in the hospitality industry in the Channel Islands and would love to have any of their staff work with me
We stayed at the hotel overnight for an event.
The staff were very friendly and the check in/out process was quick and easy which was important for us as we had limited time.
The Hotel Bar/restaurant is really nice and very well priced drinks and food.
Our room was spacious, it included kettle for hot drinks and the bed was comfortable.
Excellent bar area and choice of breakfast. Room was large and very well furnished. Bathroom fairly luxurious. The art work every where was so quirky and tasteful, but it is the ground entrance lobby and the the outdoor lift that were so brilliant and really quite breathtaking! Loved the place and the location.
Delightful hotel with warm and friendly, helpful staff who could not do enough to accommodate the needs and requests of my elderly mother and myself. The beds were excellent and the breakfast buffet was top class with an array to suit every taste. I even spotted a counter of 'gluten free' produce.
Cliff House is in a magnificent setting, the staff are completely charming and facilities second to none. The tasting menu in the main restaurant was superb. We had two days of complete luxury and cannot recommend highly enough. But best of all.........that sea view from every window.
