This was the most amazing stay, such a beautiful location and hotel facilities.
The staff both at reception and in the restaurant could not have been more friendly and attentive. My friend and I felt like a couple of VIPs. The beds were so comfortable, with stunning decor and luxurious bathrooms.
Plus we had a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening, and an enormous and delicious breakfast in the morning.
We could not recommned the Faithlegg more. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

All of the staff were fantastic and helpful throughout our stay, any time there was an issue or a question I could ask and they were really helpful. The breakfast was great and the rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. The 12pm checkout was nice and relaxed and the facilities were overall great. I'd definitely stay again and I'd recommend it if you're ever in Kilkenny.

The Luxurious Architectural design of the hotel and its facilities especially the SPA makes it for me one of the premier hotel and spa destinations in Ireland. The hydrotherapy pools are equal to any thermal spa ( indoor or outdoor) in Switzerland which I used to live in. The buffet breakfast was huge in terms of selection and beautifully presented.

A lively city full of places to see and things to do. The people are friendly.
The Guinness Storehouse and the Irish museum were highlights. The cathedrals were interesting, if a little too commercialised. The city can easily be navigated on foot and the distance from the airport is relatively short.

We visited the nearby castle.
We visited the nearby castle. We took a taxi up the St Canice’s Cathedral and two of us walked up the round tower for great views of Kilkenny. We all walked back to the hotel along the Medieval Mile. Made several stops along the way. Guided tour of the castle recommended. Also enjoyed the Left Bank / River Gauche for drinks and dinner.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of wexford. Staff are amazing. So relaxing. It is so easy to walk around Wexford. Plenty of pubs, and restaurants. Beautiful scenery. The Irish heritage centre is a must. Had a fantastic day there.

The staff need a good lesson in hospitality: it means being hospitable. It started at checkin with a woman (girl) who had no interest in the job and was downright rude. No "welcome" and she said: "sign here". No manners. The room was for three people but there were only two glasses and two cups. I asked for the extra to be sent up but they never arrived. The lack of courtesy goes for the maitre'd at the Italian restaurant. Lack of care, never came around d once to ask if things were okay, or enquire as we left. Disinterest personified. Maybe it was because they were from overseas, because the Irish bus driver was lovely. Never again.

The city was clean and easy to drive to and our hotel was defiantly in the perfect location. The parking at Trim Castle was too small and probably needs expanding. Would loved to have stayed longer and enjoyed some local pubs.

I would highly recommend the unlimited pass, the walk was very interesting, plus the guided tour of the Bishop's Palace with a woman in character was the highlight.

The Metro feels totally secure and transport into town or out to airport is simple and low-to-zero cost in both directions.

Carlingford is so charming!
Carlingford is so charming! It has a more relaxed feeling than most towns we’ve visited yet there are lots of things to keep you entertained. The castle is interesting and has a great view of the lough and the surrounding area. Northern Ireland is just across the lough! The mountains are a beautiful backdrop to the colorful town shops, cafes, restaurants and historical buildings.

Mullingar is a lively, energetic town full of young people.
Mullingar is a lively, energetic town full of young people. It’s easy to get around on foot, by bike or by car. At weekends, the town really comes alive in the evenings, with plenty of restaurants and pubs, some of which offer live music.
I cycled around 40 km along the Greenway, but there were very few cafés along the route, so it’s best to bring your own food and drinks. However, this had its own charm, as the route wasn’t commercialised or crowded with tourists. It was a lovely way to enjoy nature, with long stretches where you could cycle in peace without meeting many people along the way.
There are also plenty of fascinating historical sites on the outskirts of the town, such as the Hill of Uisneach, where local guides share fascinating stories and insights into Ireland’s ancient past.
Ireland’s lakes have a special charm of their own, too. It’s well worth taking a dip in the water and enjoying the beautiful scenery around you.
