We weren't expecting much as it is a small hotel, just off the motorway. Gosh, how wrong we were! It turned out to be the best property we stayed in during our two week tour of Ireland. All the staff were genuinely friendly and concerned for our comfort and well being. The food was exceptional. Michelin star quality (the restaurant is managed/operated by previous Michelin star holders, and it shows!). The room was warm and cosy, everything was in its right place and it worked. It was perfect.

This is a great hotel. We stayed upstairs in the penthouse suite, it was wonderful! The balcony on it was huge, the room was a great size with 2 bathrooms. Sound system to play music was great, and big televisions. Breakfast was good, their avo on toast was delicious. Coffee was good. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and food was good quality, would be nice to have more options though. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to all popular sites.

The location was fantastic, so close to everything I wanted to see in the city centre. The staff were incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough every time I asked a question. The room was large and comfortable. The bed could have been slightly more comfortable, but it was not an issue for me.

We found the Reception ladies very helpful when we arrived. They assisted us with information regarding bustrips (near the hotel) to Kildare Quay, information re the layout of town and the information on the hotel. We had lovely Irish breakfasts and enjoyed meals in the pub. Very comfortable room with a nice view of the ocean. A wonderful two days - thank you.

We spent time in Swords and at Malahide Castle. Both were great. Swords shopping area had lots of places to eat, and was bustling with life. Malahide was a great place to kill a couple hours before a flight. We also golfed at Corballis, which was fun even though the course was very dry due to drought. Very cool setting on the ocean!

Our stay with Linda and Richard was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. From the moment they greeted us at the door, we were made to feel welcome and special. They are proud of their family farm, and rightly so. We loved hearing about the history of the place and were delighted to take a tour around the property. The meals were superb, and Linda's Irish coffee was unforgettable! Attention was paid to every detail to make us comfortable and happy. We highly recommend Rolestown Farm for a unique and special stay.

Lovely city, easy to navigate city centre on foot. Lots of car parking available along quayside. Great selection of shops & restaurants. Especially enjoyed the book shops both new & second hand. Cuisine to suit all tastes and budgets. Would def recommend for a city break and as a base to enjoy the county. Will return again.

Our main reason for visiting Bray was to get the oldest Geocache in Europe [GC43] on Bray Head. We arrived by train from Connelly station in Dublin and walked to our hotel [The Strand]. After checkin and Geocache obtained we ended up eating dinner at Butler & Barry which had really good fish and chips. While we were eating we saw several different men enter the sea for a swim.
