"Dingle is the most beautiful, most amazing place in Ireland! The town is busy and well set up for tourists. The restaurants are fabulous and there are numerous cafes, gift shops, craft shops, pubs and cultural venues. The peninsula is worth exploring at any time of the year. It is full of natural beauty and history. I recommend Doyle's restaurant. Also Wine Strand and the Sea Head Drive."

"I loved the hotel. It is so welcoming. It is one of the oldest hotels in lreland. The staff are amazing. There are always on hand to help and to give any information on the area or places to visit. There are beautiful places in the surrounding area. Mountains walking horse ridind and a beach all on the doorstep. We had dinner every evening in the hotel. They have a beautiful menu and a very welcoming bar."

"A stunning seaside experience. Two lovely safe beaches, one with a little surf action. The sun sets directly in front of the castle ruin on the promontory. Typical small village with typical pubs and food options. We stayed at the Marine Hotel which was a little pricey but very good - over the road from beach access and green area. The restaurant there has a good menu with much seafood available. We found it very enjoyable."

"What we liked most about the hotel was the minute you arrived until the time we left all the staff were so welcoming from the staff who checked you in the servers in the restaurant and the staff who cleaned the rooms everyone was so helpful and the room we stayed in was lovely and the breakfast and dinner was fantastic I would highly recommend the river island hotel and I will be definitely staying there again"

"We went primarily to tour the area including Ballybunion. Also for the Lartigue Monorail and museum in Listowel. A gem, and an important piece of transport heritage that is still relatively unknown in the UK. Great visit. The town is lively with good music in the pubs (especially Christy's). Lovely place!"

"Lovely beach - not overcrowded even on one of the hottest weekends of the year. Water was very clean and came right up close to pier steps at high tide. Stunning views across the sea to mountains. Large car-park right beside beach. Live music in White Sands hotel and Flahives pub both weekends and weekdays in peak season. Local Centra supermarket was well-stocked and open from 7am to 10pm, directly across from Hotel. Can not recommend highly enough after several visits over the years."
