"Killarney is an absolute stay to do the ring of Kerry. Very touristy but the prices are reasonable for drinks and food. The town centre is lively at night with plenty of places to eat and drink and shops to buy anything you require, highly recommend."

"Dingle is the most beautiful, most amazing place in Ireland! The town is busy and well set up for tourists. The restaurants are fabulous and there are numerous cafes, gift shops, craft shops, pubs and cultural venues. The peninsula is worth exploring at any time of the year. It is full of natural beauty and history. I recommend Doyle's restaurant. Also Wine Strand and the Sea Head Drive."

"A stunning seaside experience. Two lovely safe beaches, one with a little surf action. The sun sets directly in front of the castle ruin on the promontory. Typical small village with typical pubs and food options. We stayed at the Marine Hotel which was a little pricey but very good - over the road from beach access and green area. The restaurant there has a good menu with much seafood available. We found it very enjoyable."

"We went primarily to tour the area including Ballybunion. Also for the Lartigue Monorail and museum in Listowel. "Lovely beach - not overcrowded even on one of the hottest weekends of the year. Water was very clean and came right up close to pier steps at high tide. Stunning views across the sea to mountains. Large car-park right beside beach. Live music in White Sands hotel and Flahives pub both weekends and weekdays in peak season. Local Centra supermarket was well-stocked and open from 7am to 10pm, directly across from Hotel. Can not recommend highly enough after several visits over the years."

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. It was spacious, perfectly clean, and fairly well equipped, with very comfortable beds. The kitchen also included basic essentials such as salt, pepper, tea, milk, butter and coffee. The location is excellent, close to the national park. A nice bonus was the hotel shuttle service to the city and train station.

The restaurant food and staff were exceptional.

The restaurant food and staff were exceptional. Sharon, in particular was very helpful and had a wealth of knowledge about the local area and even advised on a drink selction that I never had before .... a white wine with white lemonade, which I thoroughly enjoyed and I think will be my dinner drink for many years to come. Monica who served us at the table was also very personable, pleasant and efficient. We live in Dublin, but expect to see us at the Kenmare Bay Hotel many times in the years to come ... a home away from home. Disliked · To be honest there was nothing we didnt like.

It's just 20 mins away from Kilarney National Park - which we visited last (just the Waterfall) Perfect if you plan on visiting Ring of Kerry and wish to take a lap around it - we have managed to see all the highlights (northern-side, i.e. Cahersiveen, Valentia, ending on the Cliffs of Kerry, then driving through the south absolutely gobsmacked with the views) If you want to visit Ring Of Kerry we recommend 2 days there as we wish we spent more and explore South side - definitely visit Valentia and Cahersiveen (coffee at Lazy Cat with view at the cathedral and shopping in the near gift shop) The views or Ring of Kerry are spectacular - Canary Islands, Canada, Zakopane, Peru (one word: Ireland), all mixed up! BIG LOVE!

The bedrooms were excellent. Spacy and spotless. However at about 6.30am there was a lot of noise from the users of the adjoining room's shower. We also heard the occupant/s the evening before. The noise of the water was entirely due the the bad insulation of the walls. I think it will be a major problem in the future.

The pubs are great and staff are friendly i reccommend mikey joes pub and it has a pool table at the back. the casinos amusements for kids on the weekend are great the park is also fantastic and spotless clean. The beach is close to everything. But the downside is everything is closed monday and Tuesday. Do a seaweed bath on the beach its beside the coffee place and it is fantastic and it only cost me €30. Marios chipper was great for take out pizza.
