We greeted by the super friendly receptionist (the ozzie girl) , she helped us and happy to answer any questions we had. Checked us in early as our rooms were ready , and offered to hold our bags if the rooms wernt ready. The room was super clean and cozy, the hotel is bang in the middle of eyre square. So very convenient.

Poor drunk man decided to pick a fight with my fiancé and...

Poor drunk man decided to pick a fight with my fiancé and said racist bs to me lol (saying I'm a prostitute of an ethnicity that I am not) because we didn't entertain him when he asked for money. Had a laugh but my spouse was furious lol. Fun times and memorable! 10/10

We hit Galway during a spate of bad weather and probably can't give Eyre Square it's due. It is a very nice green space in the middle of downtown Galway. Try to go when it isn't pouring!

Don't bother, too many stall of crap, too many stalls of same same food. Had been hoping for proper artisan stalls, dint find any just stalls with rude stall holders. In fairness the Christmas ornament stall were fantastic, so lovely to deal with, but other than that the stall holders spoke to customers like they owned them a living. Very very disappointed. Last time I'll go. Would rather support my local small businesses.

It is very centrally located. Railway station, Eyre square and Latin quarter is within walking distance of this hostel. Next to coach station. Room was good. Big window which help d it proper air circulation.

The hotel was in an excellent location, right next to Eyre Square. Plenty of bars and eating places in the immediate area. A very short walk to shop street and the Latin Quarter. The lane the hotel is situated in is very secure with a gate that locks in the evening. We booked a double room and although it was a bit on the small side they made the best use of space. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and it had a great shower. It also had air conditioning which was a bonus. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Clean, warm,fantastic location only a few minutes walk to Eyre Square, tea bags, coffee milk left out for us to use and shower gel/soap in the bathrooms Seems to be owned by the Western Hotel around the corner so therefore it has great quality bedding, towels ect Would stay again, fantastic value for Galway

The staff we extremely helpful and really friendly. The room was spotlessly clean. The hotel was about 10 minutes walk from Eyre Square and about 10 minutes by bus to Salthill. Breakfast was lovely self service cereals, pasteries, juices and mixed grill.Myself and my grandsons had a lovely time

Level 5 room was spacious and excellent with a comfortable bed and lounge chairs and sofa for relaxing. Bathroom was very spacious and modern and the room had an outside decking area which was great for a morning coffee. Reception staff were always very helpful with enquiries. Lifts were efficient and accessible and underground parking below hotel was ideal. Perfect central location to Eyre Square and was a short walk to the docks and the seasonal boat trip to Inis Mor on the Aran Islands.
