We had a lake view room, it was very spacious and clean and had beautiful views over the lake. Bed was comfortable, a large well stocked bathroom and there was a sofa and chairs, coffee and tea making facilities were available. There was also water dispensers on each floor. We used the thermal suite, it was definitely worth it and apart from us there were only two other people using it at that time. The days we were there only the bar was available for food, it was quite good.

Killarney is an excellent place to visit, especially if you want to balance outdoor activities with a lively town setup. The biggest draw is the location. Having Killarney National Park right next to the town makes it incredibly easy to get out to spots like Ross Castle, Torc Waterfall, and the lakes. It is scenic, accessible, and well worth spending a few days exploring. The town itself is compact but very busy, with a great energy in the evenings. There is a massive choice of pubs and restaurants, and you can find brilliant live music almost any night of the week. The infrastructure for tourism is highly polished, meaning everything runs smoothly and the locals are genuinely welcoming. It is a highly recommended spot if you are planning a trip to the west of Ireland.

Our favourite place we visited was Vibes and Scribes Bookstore with a great selection of new and second hand books. The second favourite place we visited was the English Market where we got a great breakfast. The City was a bit spread out with long walks. We liked a few huckster stores that sold everything from small and big ,that you do not see anymore.

Overall Doolin is a great town to visit.

Overall Doolin is a great town to visit. Be careful eating at O'Connor's, we both got sick from the Seafood Chowder. The Cliffs of Moher are not what they were, to restricted to see. The Cliffs of Kerry, Mizen Head, Kilkee Cliffs and even Dub Briste Sea Stack is better.

Warm welcoming people and plenty of places to visit.

Warm welcoming people and plenty of places to visit. Very easy to access everywhere. Very clean steeets with lots of planters full of colourful flowers and trees- very well cared for. Aquadome brilliant for kids, bird watching on mud flaps plus a super walk down by the basin, wetlands site, lots of interesting historical sites to visit, lovely park / rose garden walk, theatre, variety of cuisines available and lots of pub and music entertainment. Even with mobility issues it was easy to navigate and people were very helpful.

The restaurant food and staff were exceptional.

The restaurant food and staff were exceptional. Sharon, in particular was very helpful and had a wealth of knowledge about the local area and even advised on a drink selction that I never had before .... a white wine with white lemonade, which I thoroughly enjoyed and I think will be my dinner drink for many years to come. Monica who served us at the table was also very personable, pleasant and efficient. We live in Dublin, but expect to see us at the Kenmare Bay Hotel many times in the years to come ... a home away from home. Disliked · To be honest there was nothing we didnt like.

Kinsale is a must on a trip to Ireland.

Kinsale is a must on a trip to Ireland. Beautiful scenery, fabulous food and amazing hospitality. A seaside and riverside town all in one. You can easily walk around the town centre and there is a Link bus for visiting other places of local interest like the 911 memorial and/or the Lusitania museum. Be sure to do the walking tour. Takes about 2 hours and Barry is absolutely brilliant and so interesting. You don't want his stories to stop! We ate at the White Lady hotel (where we stayed - fabulous) and the White House Hotel. Both excellent value and delicious food. Beware the large portions sizes!
