We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. It was spacious, perfectly clean, and fairly well equipped, with very comfortable beds. The kitchen also included basic essentials such as salt, pepper, tea, milk, butter and coffee. The location is excellent, close to the national park. A nice bonus was the hotel shuttle service to the city and train station.

The Main Street was picturesque, lively and interesting.

The Main Street was picturesque, lively and interesting. The walks were flat and easy. The parks were interesting with many photo opportunities. Refreshments were close by. If I shut my eyes, the clearest memories are filled with horse drawn buggies clopping all around Killarney. The waterfall is so accessible as cars can get very close. The cafeteria at Muckross Farm was well stocked, had a pleasant out door area and delicious (appearing) food.

Our favourite place we visited was Vibes and Scribes...

Our favourite place we visited was Vibes and Scribes Bookstore with a great selection of new and second hand books. The second favourite place we visited was the English Market where we got a great breakfast. The City was a bit spread out with long walks. We liked a few huckster stores that sold everything from small and big ,that you do not see anymore.

It really is a magical place, always love visiting Dingle. The place is vibrant. Lots to see and do. A great Aquarium, fantastic boat tours. Great shops, really different, unique places. Lovely places to eat from ice cream parlours, little cafes and good restaurants. Great choice for everyone’s tastes.

We arrived later in the afternoon after visiting the Cliffs of Moher and didn't have time to check out the couple shops near the pier. Did the seaweed baths at the pier and it was a very memorable experience. Watched others swim in the ocean while we enjoyed the warm sea water in our baths. Finding a spot to have dinner without reservations when its raining proved to be difficult. We tried three spots before McGann's found a spot for us. Turned out to be the perfect meal while listening to traditional music! If the weather was nicer, we would have loved to check out the pitch and putt course that's nearby.

Warm welcoming people and plenty of places to visit.

Warm welcoming people and plenty of places to visit. Very easy to access everywhere. Very clean steeets with lots of planters full of colourful flowers and trees- very well cared for. Aquadome brilliant for kids, bird watching on mud flaps plus a super walk down by the basin, wetlands site, lots of interesting historical sites to visit, lovely park / rose garden walk, theatre, variety of cuisines available and lots of pub and music entertainment. Even with mobility issues it was easy to navigate and people were very helpful.

The restaurant food and staff were exceptional.

The restaurant food and staff were exceptional. Sharon, in particular was very helpful and had a wealth of knowledge about the local area and even advised on a drink selction that I never had before .... a white wine with white lemonade, which I thoroughly enjoyed and I think will be my dinner drink for many years to come. Monica who served us at the table was also very personable, pleasant and efficient. We live in Dublin, but expect to see us at the Kenmare Bay Hotel many times in the years to come ... a home away from home. Disliked · To be honest there was nothing we didnt like.

Kinsale is a must on a trip to Ireland.

Kinsale is a must on a trip to Ireland. Beautiful scenery, fabulous food and amazing hospitality. A seaside and riverside town all in one. You can easily walk around the town centre and there is a Link bus for visiting other places of local interest like the 911 memorial and/or the Lusitania museum. Be sure to do the walking tour. Takes about 2 hours and Barry is absolutely brilliant and so interesting. You don't want his stories to stop! We ate at the White Lady hotel (where we stayed - fabulous) and the White House Hotel. Both excellent value and delicious food. Beware the large portions sizes!
