This place was a palace! Enormous rooms (Big for North America, gargantuan for Ireland). Clean, *free cookies*, balcony. Leather wing-back chairs in the bar. The staff treated us like royalty. After we got lost on the way there, the concierge offered to come find us in the dark after give me his personal mobile number! Above and beyond... I could get used to this. I'm guessing this place normally sells for a lot more than we paid, but we booked at about 10 pm the night of owing to running out of our previous hotel which appeared to be unsanitary. Still, maybe if you need the same kind of last-minute accommodations in Cork, you can get the same deal.

Cork city is a very special place.

Cork city is a very special place. The genuine warmth and outgoing friendliness of the locals always brings us back. So many must-visits: the English Market for its food and Farm Gate Restaurant on the first floor; the music sessions in the many bars; the shops on the pedestrianised Oliver Plunkett Street; Paradiso Restaurant, consistently outstanding for over 20 years and you don't have to be a vegetarian to love the food.

Beautiful town with lots of small independent shops and bars. We arrived on a Sunday town was busy not sure if this is normal for a Sunday in January but it was a bank holiday. We ate in a lovely wine bar that was set back, has the biggest selection of Whiskey in Ireland (May have. Been called the whiskey bar) food was excellent, reasonably priced and friendly staff.

Dingle is a superb destination regardless of the time of year that you visit. I visited the town at the end of January. Some businesses were closed on break after the hectic Christmas and early January festivities. However, the establishments that were open ticked all the boxes. The usual spots should be hit in the town but you are missing out if you do not travel outside Dingle. Book a mini-bus or hire a car and venture out to Ballyferriter, Dun Chaoin (Kruger Bar) and Ventry to Paidi's. The landscape is superb and the pubs are cozy and welcoming. Several excellent restaurants in the town were closed. However, big shout out to James Longs and Harringtons which were open and delivered home cooked food with hospitality, warmth and very competitively pricing. Paul Geaney's bar and restaurant was exceptional on Saturday night. Finish off the night at Droichead Beag to dance the night the way. The bar staff, security and locals were standout throughout the weekend stay. Highly recommended! A must go destination in Ireland!

It had been about 40 years since I was in Tralee last, that was during the Rose Festival. This time we were only in Tralee overnight to visit family. Luckily the weather was dry and bright, which definitely helps. Had a stroll through the beautiful rose garden on Sunday morning and around town. We commented on how clean it was & how it felt safe. Definitely will be back during the year for a longer stay.

Charming little town with quick access to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. The pubs in town pride themselves on showcasing traditional Irish music and nobody does it better... and may I say the Irish Stew at McDermotts Pub is AMAZING! Add the Doolin Caves to the mix and this Irish town is a Winner!!!

Cobh is wonderfully walkable with so much to do.

Cobh is wonderfully walkable with so much to do. Seasalt is a lovely cafe for breakfast or lunch, with fresh, creative, local food and warm, welcoming servers. The view of the harbor from the window seats makes it a perfect spot for coffee, tea, a bite, and some people-watching. Across the street is the Titanic Experience, which gives visitors a true feel for what the passengers experienced. It's heart-breaking. The gorgeous Deck of Cards is a hike up a very steep street but worth it. At the top is the astonishing St. Colman's Cathedral, which oversees the harbor. The Saturday market has wonderful artwork, clothing, and local foods. And traveling across the harbor to Spike Island is a fascinating combination of nature hike and historical tours.
