A lovely West Cork village that makes a big effort to look smart and offers a great welcome. Nice landscaped public spaces (waterfront promenade) and lots of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Also supermarket shopping and a pharmacy, A mecca for sailors.
A lovely little place for a Christmassy weekend away. Great walks round the coast and up Mount Gabriel. Lovely pub called Hacketts, the crab sandwich there is amazing, perfect for winter to sit by the open fire. Also there are some great little independent gift/homeware shops in the main street.
the views the people the pubs and restaurants were all great and I would highly recommend a visit to O'Reagans pub we had a fab time in there. For food the best place was the Bunratty cannot wait to go back
I used to come here as a child and we used to stay in the caravan park. It was a trip down memory lane. What’s not up love about Schull. The pier walk is great. There are also plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in Schull. The scenery is great. We didn’t get a chance to go to the planetarium this time but it’s on our agenda for next time.
Loved walking around town and going into the shops. The atmosphere in pubs was great. Fantastic buzz around the town as regatta was on. Had a lovely trip to Crookhaven and had a delicious lunch in Sullivan’s pub. Walked the beach at Barleycove
