In a scenic, rural setting, Glen na Smole is located just 15 minutes’ walk from Wicklow’s center, offering an extensive breakfast menu, free golf club hire, and free parking. Superb breakfast, very comfortable accommodation, high standards, easy to find, good location for Wicklow, coast and motorway. Warm reception, friendly hostess. Couldn't want for more.
Located in Wicklow, near Wicklow Gaol, Halpins Town House features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a shared lounge. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels and DVD player are available in some units.... Patricia was very welcoming. I felt like I was at home. Patricia gave us great recommendations, especially for dinner (Bridge Tavern).
Featuring garden views, Oak Trees Corner stylish, relaxing, getaway offers accommodations with WiFi and a fully-equipped kitchen, around 3.1 mi from Wicklow Jail. Self catering was good value and the property was well equipped. The host was very pleasant and attentive. Swallows Rest Garden Apartment is located in Wicklow. Located 1.1 miles from Wicklow Gaol, the property provides a garden and free private parking. Beautiful location at the top of the hill. Easy to walk down in around 10 minutes but a bit slower on the way back up ! Local taxis only charge 6 Euros which were great to use after an evening out in Wicklow Town. Plenty of room in the accommodation, bigger than we expected. The host was very friendly and helpful, rushing out to buy a hairdryer when we couldn't find it in the property. Always on hand as they live upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge with Sky TV, also TV's/Sky in 2 of the bedrooms and amazing beds and bedding. Lovely decking/outside seating area. We are already planning another visit next year. Thank you Ian.
Glenmalure Mountain View is located in Wicklow. Located 16 miles from Wicklow Gaol, the property provides a garden and free private parking. The apartment has a flat-screen TV. An absolute perfect stay. The hosts thought of everything and more to make this property feel like home away from home. Pure comfort, plenty of space, safe parking and all the facilities you would need not to mention the spectacular mountain views on your doorstep - stunning!! The host was super friendly and everything was so well organised. It was a pleasure to stay at Glenmalure mountain view, a complete gem of a find and will definitely return.
Beautiful town, lovely shops, cafes, restaurants. We ate at the Sparrow's Nest twice and both meals were excellent along with the wine (they do not serve spirits which is not ideal if you do not like wine or beer). Great atmosphere at The Bridge with live music on Friday and Saturday night. Lot's of sight seeing opportunities in the area and a visit to Glendalough is a must. It's a place of outstanding beauty. Taxiwicklow.com provided an excellent service throughout our stay for airport transfers and our trip to Glendalough. Highly recommended.
Wicklow town was a nice surprise. I found local people to be helpful and friendly. There are beautiful harbour views, coastline walk, swimming and snorkeling, restaurants and takeaways. It's a good base for Kilnacurragh gardens, Glendalough and Wicklow Gaol. I would definitely go back.
Stayed in the centre so wanted to see as much around as we could ( not driving)... there are lots of shops, had a very good accupuncture session, went to the old prison which was unforgettable experience, walked around the Black castle ( whats left), etc. Its a lovely town to come back...
The coastline with lovely Cliff walks and Views. Beautiful Sandy Beach at Brittas Bay Sugar Loaf climb with amazing views across both Dublin and Wicklow Bay Glendalough lakes and walks Wicklow Jail
Wicklow is a beautiful city with lots of places to see in Wicklow Mountains Park. However, you have to schedule yourself during your time in the city center as everything closes very early in the afternoon, restaurants and coffee shops start closing at 4:30 pm. Don't go with google on this.
The park itself needs a whole day to visit, take time out to just sit and admire the beauty. The wicklow town has alot to offer in the form of the gaol, the houses and estates. The powerscout waterfall requires an entry fee which is off putting because when we went to see it there was hardly any water in it.
The accommodation was very beautiful and clean! We had our own bathroom and even a balcony. The bedroom was wonderful and the people were lovely and helpful, they offered us a car to bring us to a lovely restaurant close to the accommodation which was also amazing. The location was very good, because it’s on the Wicklow way path. The porridge and breakfast was very good and they even made us packed lunches. It was worth the money.
Taxi service in the town is very poor and the owner offered to pick me up at the train station when I arrived and drove me back to the train station when I left. This was above and beyond the call of duty
The place is awesome it is located in town. Near the harbour and the staff are very accommodating. The room is clean and the ambiance is good.
Good location, very clean and owners very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a visit to the Wicklow area.
The property was great! Very easy to find and get to Wicklow itself. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices!

Very basic. One night stop over perfect. Close to Wicklow town.
