Very beautiful location amongst the Wicklow Mountains. The rooms were very comfortable and with excellent quality furnishings and a very good shower. It was dead quiet at night for sleeping. The beds and bedding were just great as was the decor with some special Irish antiques. Excellent breakfast as well and plenty of free parking. Very much recommended as a quiet mountain getaway in a very beautiful area of Ireland.

Wicklow is a historic town and still an operating harbour, in the vicinity of the Wicklow mountains. There's plenty of interest in the town, including the harbour area including the Black Tower, and the Old Gaol museum. There's pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes - I ate at the Blue seafood restaurant on the quay and it was excellent. For lighter meals there are cafes, coffee-houses and bakery tea rooms to from hipster to traditional. I busy, fun town.

The view of the Wicklow Mountains, while immersed in nature, an expansive property complete with Llamas, yoga studio, gardens and a peaceful ambiance throughout the building helped me relax after a very long journey. If you're looking for a more holistic get-away this would be the place to go.

Truly the garden of Ireland.
Truly the garden of Ireland. So much to see and do that I would have needed AT LEAST a week to have seen everything I was interested in. Beautifully kept villages that were spotless and bustling with people. Local people extremely friendly. Can't wait to come back!
I can really recommend a cafe 'Turquoise' for veggie or vegans. The amount of options there was amazing and the food was some of the best I've ever eaten. Along with 'The Happy Pear' in Greystones.
You def need a car to get around and I can recommend stopping at Victors Way for a bit of a different experience with lots of unique statues.

Wicklow is a quaint place and easy to get around if you park your car and walk. There are interesting shops to be found in the town of Wicklow. The surrounding areas towards the mountains is definitely worth exploring. There are great walks and public transport easy to navigate.
Alan & Sharon's apartment was great. Cosy, clean, secure & very private. The location was perfect for Wicklow Town, Greystones, Bray & even a train trip to Dublin.
Would highly recommend & will definitely be back next time we are in Ireland.
Thanks Alan & Sharon.
