Located in Wicklow, The Bridge Tavern offers accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a restaurant and a bar. The staff was great! Helpful, went out of their way and always in good humor. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included and ranged from a traditional Irish breakfast to something smaller- all delicious. We had a wonderful stay!
In a scenic, rural setting, Glen na Smole is located just 15 minutes’ walk from Wicklow’s center, offering an extensive breakfast menu, free golf club hire, and free parking. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent!
Halpins Town House is provides accommodations with a shared lounge and free WiFi in Wicklow, an 8-minute walk from Wicklow Gaol. A continental breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. The accommodation is perfect, well located and well maintained. But more importantly, Patricia is a very good host. She is kind, attentive and makes a very delicious breakfast. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Glenmalure Fananierin Mountain View is located in Wicklow. Located 16 miles from Wicklow Gaol, the property provides a garden and free private parking. An absolute perfect stay. The hosts thought of everything and more to make this property feel like home away from home. Pure comfort, plenty of space, safe parking and all the facilities you would need not to mention the spectacular mountain views on your doorstep - stunning!! The host was super friendly and everything was so well organised. It was a pleasure to stay at Glenmalure mountain view, a complete gem of a find and will definitely return.
My stay in the Scarr View 1st Floor Apartment was excellent. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and I will definitely be back for another visit. I made a genuine error in the survey I completed. I would like the opportunity to complete this survey again Apologies for error
Wicklow is a quaint place and easy to get around if you park your car and walk. There are interesting shops to be found in the town of Wicklow. The surrounding areas towards the mountains is definitely worth exploring. There are great walks and public transport easy to navigate.
Beautiful town, lovely shops, cafes, restaurants. We ate at the Sparrow's Nest twice and both meals were excellent along with the wine (they do not serve spirits which is not ideal if you do not like wine or beer). Great atmosphere at The Bridge with live music on Friday and Saturday night. Lot's of sight seeing opportunities in the area and a visit to Glendalough is a must. It's a place of outstanding beauty. Taxiwicklow.com provided an excellent service throughout our stay for airport transfers and our trip to Glendalough. Highly recommended.
Wicklow town was a nice surprise. I found local people to be helpful and friendly. There are beautiful harbour views, coastline walk, swimming and snorkeling, restaurants and takeaways. It's a good base for Kilnacurragh gardens, Glendalough and Wicklow Gaol. I would definitely go back.
Stayed in the centre so wanted to see as much around as we could ( not driving)... there are lots of shops, had a very good accupuncture session, went to the old prison which was unforgettable experience, walked around the Black castle ( whats left), etc. Its a lovely town to come back...
The coastline with lovely Cliff walks and Views. Beautiful Sandy Beach at Brittas Bay Sugar Loaf climb with amazing views across both Dublin and Wicklow Bay Glendalough lakes and walks Wicklow Jail
This accommodation is a real gem. Management is very attentive to their guests requirements. Well worth the price. Breakfast was top notch. The room was clean and the whole facility was very well maintained. The view of the Wicklow Mountains is absolutely beautiful. I would rate it # 1 in the area.
The Bridge Tavern is a great place to stay in the heart of Wicklow. We were close to Glendalough, near cute shops and the hotel had a wonderful bar. The food was delicious (free breakfast!) and the location was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Perfect spot to walk to everything.
Appartment location near to town makes it one of the few in Wicklow Mountain area that can be properly reached by public transport (bus). Vert good facilities for up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms and well equipped kitchen: ideal for family or other up to 4 person group.
We cooked breakfast and dinner in the apartment kitchen that was very well equipped. The host was very welcoming, as were the very well behaved family dogs. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will highly recommend the location.
A lovely little guest house just outside Wicklow but not far to drive into the town. Beautifully decorated rooms. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Lovely lady running the establishment
Beautiful house. Perfect location, right beside the beach and great base for touring beautiful Wicklow. So convenient from Dublin.
