The owners (Padraig and Mari) their adult children and all staff made our stay exceptional. Our room was spacious, comfortable and luxurious. Most comfortable bed during our 12 nite stay throughout Ireland. The restaurant service was terrific and the food delicious. Great location for visits to Powers court and hiking in beautiful Glendalough. Sad to leave Chester Beatty after 2 nites.

The Gaol (jail) visit was fascinating. Every person we met in town was friendly. I was surprised when everybody we passed on the street said good morning, Our bed and breakfast even opened breakfast early since we had to leave early that morning.
The Tinakilly Country House was fabulous! The Aoca Handweavers was lovely! The beach was beautiful! The country roads were wonderful to travel. The people were all so very nice and accommodating! I would return in a heart beat!!
Wicklow town is a quaint little town by the seaside. Visit the many stony beaches, take some gorgeous photos. Visit Wicklow Gaol and The Fishman restaurant for freshly caught fish and meet the celebrity seal "Sammy." 30 minute drive from The Wicklow Mountain National Park in Glendalough. You'll need a car to get there. Wicklow town has lovely coffee shops, pubs and great for walking, golf, hiking and fresh air.
Beautiful town and beautiful scenery. A lovely and peaceful spot to enjoy a couple of days. If you're staying in Wicklow town, be sure to do the Lighthouse Walk. Stop by the tourist office for a map! It is a treacherous route with overgrown fern....but carry on! It is worth all of the beautiful views! Eat at The Dairy and have drinks at the Bridge Tavern.
We spent one day in Wicklow. The town was small and easy to navigate. We played golf at the Wicklow Golf Club, a terrific links course. Almost every hole on the course has spectacular views and was great fun to play. I would recommend getting a driving cart if you're not used to walking very hilly terrain. The prices were very reasonable.
Facility in very poor shape. Holes in the walls. Stains on the carpet. Room mix ups. Gave our key to another guest. Poor breakfast food and low quality. If it wasn't so late when we arrived I would have left.

Carmel was so sweet and made us feel right at home. The house is cozy and quiet. She made us feel so comfortable after a long day of travel from the states. She recommend excellent places for dinner and helped us navagate that evening. She Is an excellent cook and we had the most incredible full Irish breakfast. One of the best of our stay in Ireland. The breakfast room has a few tables and we were able to visit with a couple from Germany before starting our day. We hope to visit again and stay here.

It has the best amenities. Wonderful place which is beautiful well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. But if you want to see Wicklow you probably want to stay in Bray because there is close to nothing to do and see in this location
