Prasad, the house manager and his team gave exemplary hospitality. The old Portuguese house is steeped in heritage and is maintained very well. The home grown and home cooked food and the cool pool was an added bonus. The island is small enough to walk or cycle and there are restaurants and convenience stores close by. Divar Island is a ferry ride away from the chaos and noise of the mainland. You'll find a rhythm here that you won't want to lose.

Quiet location directly at the river. The restaurant served excellent food. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful organizing a transfer, renting an scooter...

Staff were exceptionally good and attentive, and extremely helpful in meeting my requests and helping me organise activities during my stay, and overcoming logistical problems. Very comfortable rooms, a excellent stay. Quiet, relaxing, just what I needed after Delhi.
