Khatu Haveli is a heritage property built in the 19th century has 3 courtyards and magnificent arches and terraces. The hosts give every guest personal attention. Historic building, very well maintained and nicely decorated. The bathroom wasn't just clean it was ultra-clean. There was nothing to complain at all, and I'm a big complainer. You have to be aware though of the very steep steps in the Haveli, dinner is served on the 3rd floor.

I've wanted to visit Rajasthan for some time. We didn't have much time so chose only Jaipur. It is a magical city. I recommend doing a tour the first day to orient yourself and be sure to save time for shopping. The best shopping we found were textiles (particularly block print) and jewelry. The food is amazing. Plan for long, lingering lunches at the havelis. We went in February and the weather was dreamy.
Jaipur was great. There's a lot to see and we felt safe walking around the Bazaars even at night. Most things close at 5pm so I wish we had had one more day there. I think 2 full days would be ideal with a third half day/travel day (1 day to do Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort, and Jaigarh Fort, see Jal Mahal from afar, another to do Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Jantar Manar, and a third to see the town, go to MI road, go shopping at the bazaars and at the shops on MI Road). Definitely go to Four Seasons, some of our favorite food in all of India and super affordable. We also enjoyed Niro's and shopping at Amrapali for jewelry. We took the opportunity to go to Pushkar and do an overnight camel ride in the desert which was one of our favorite parts of the trip so if you can swing a 4th night in this area it was a great deal (about $60 USD RT in Uber/Car) to get to Pushkar and then the camel trip we booked separately through Pushkar Camel Safari. The weather was pretty good (last week of Jan), about 70 during the day and 40s at night, a medium weight jacket and backpack to carry it during the day worked for us. Or a vest and fleece.
Famous Elefant ride was rather disappointing not as much enjoyable as expected. If you are interested in dining as local, do not miss Mohan restaurant.Indian street food. It was the best food we had in Jaipur and extremely reasonable
Jaipur is an amazing place to visit if you are interested in historic architecture, history of Rajasthan, incredible food n sweets which can only get in this reason of country. It's a must visit for every traveler.
The city is amazing and the people are great. It's very nice to visit the pink City with all small stores and markets but don't forget the different forts. The city is crowded so plan your trip carefully and take enough time to travel through the city
Devastated. The place has been filth by local and low wage migrant workers. Rickshaw drivers should be banned. Traffic condition is worse. Cheat and fraud people every where. Avoid jaipur at all cost. Jaipur has awesome places but people had made it garbage.

It is a homestay managed by Boby's family, therefore you will feel really welcome. They always do their best to attend to your needs and provide it in a timely manner e.g., tissue request, bottled water. It's located in the centre of pink city. Walking distance to some of the main tourist spots in Jaipur. I was actually suffering from canker sores when I arrived there and Mr Boby provided me information on where to best buy a medicine. They also provide free breakfast! Their aloo paratha is the best!

Everything. The place is an island of peacefulkness in the middle of hectic Jaipur. The hotel is beautiful spotless and the staff is attendive and very professional. The owners are a friendly couple and the conversations we had contributed to the overall experience. Outside there is a wonderful middle-aged riksha driver Shiam- that I recommend to take as and he will make sure that you will see the best places in Jaipur. We staiyed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute.

We stayed at Laxmi Palace for one night after our 10-day Vipassana course and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was beautiful and quaint as well as calm and quiet which is very much needed from the noise of the bustling city. The room was very clean, warm (very much appreciated in December), spacious and comfortable with hot showers. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay again if we return to Jaipur!

Lots of options for food from nearby restaurant as the hotel does not have any own . The staff was helpful. But they took long time to serve tea coffee . Its a budget hotel and good for staying with family or couples also. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms is it got no windows

And they gave us other small room after check-out for waiting a bus trip to other city at night. This is the best hotel we found in India :)

Stuff work is excellent. Location is weird, but surely it’s a problem of Jaipur, not the hotel. It’s is central indeed. Definitely not a five stars but probably one of the best choices for its price.
