Had a very pleasant stay at Aravind Guest House. The room was extremely neat, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. The switchboard indications were very unique—seeing something like that for the first time and quite thoughtful. The room was well-equipped with a kettle, towels, instant coffee powder, milk powder, sugar, and a wardrobe. Wi-Fi worked well, and food delivery options like Swiggy and Zaaros were easily available. A staff member was available and promptly facilitated hot water around 6 AM, which was very helpful. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chidambaram

I laughed that the accommodation was very close to”the big temple” that is the main treasure of the town and absolutely worth visiting for it’s very beautiful architecture and sculptures. I appreciated the hosts extensive recommendations for very good restaurants, his late checkout and the caring staff (enjoyed that goodbye cup of tea a lot!)

The house was big, clean and in the perfect location: just 10 min walk from the temples and really good restaurants, but in a very quiet and safe area. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The highlight of the place is its owner: he will act as a real tour guide and he'll help you organize your entire stay! When we couldn't find any means of transport, he even brought us to the train station himself. Thank you, you're kindness will be remembered!

We had a wonderful stay here during the Chidambaram Ther festival. From the moment we arrived, it never felt like we were staying in a new place—it truly felt like a home away from home. The owner was exceptionally kind, caring, and hospitable. When we couldn’t find an auto, he personally dropped us at the bus stand in his own vehicle, which was a very thoughtful gesture. He also shared temple prasadam with us, making our stay even more special. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, and thoughtful additions like milk powder, coffee, Horlicks, and Boost sachets made us feel right at home. We were even able to prepare Maggi comfortably. This is definitely one of the best places to stay in Chidambaram. We had a very comfortable and memorable stay, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chidambaram.
