Superb location within an Apple orchard. Definitely the best resort property anywhere around Sangla. The fact that it is right next to the flowing Baspa river, surrounded by towering snowcapped mountains, the sights are simply breathtaking sitting in the open patios next to our room. The evening bonfire for all the guests to meet up was a unique experience. We did get to meet many interesting people. We stayed in the main building, with a lovely room with a sit-out. The bed had electric warmers which was truly comfortable. And good hot water available at all times. We were impressed with the quality and variety of food on offer, and the resort definitely provides the atmosphere to enjoy every meal in the true lap of nature. The staff impressed us with their efficient and professional approach, as well as always service with a smile. Overall truly a very memorable experience of our stay at a very well managed resort in the middle of nowhere.

We stayed here in May 2026. The staff were very co-operative and instantly made us feel at home. The geyser was working properly. The rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. Food was bengali style and reminded us of our home. Would definitely recommend the food here if you're a bengali. Overall, a very peaceful stay.

I have been to many hotels and places, but I have never seen such a beautiful hotel as Buro the Gate. The hotel is run by the humble and kind Ranjan Sir, who is very entertaining, supportive, and helpful. Above all, he is a great businessman. The location is simply mind-blowing, and most of the rooms offer stunning views of Kinner Kailash. The rooms are neat and clean, and the food is delicious, just like home-cooked meals, always freshly prepared. The restaurant is very beautiful and has a unique concept where guests can exchange books and enjoy their journey.
